The NFLPA is full of crap on this. Turf fields have been notoriously damaging to players for years … and yet the NFLPA never gave a damn in their collective bargaining negotiations before.
They should go on a strike now. Until the NFL agrees to replace the turf in all of their stadiums.
I am not sure there are actual statistics showing that on the newer generation of artificial turf. You can’t really put the stuff 30 or 40 years ago in same bag as the new padded turfs.
Give them bread and circuses...
