“We recommend that you get an abortion.” That was the advice Tasha Kann received from doctors in Michigan shortly after she learned that she had brain cancer in 2022.
The young mother, who was 20 weeks pregnant with her second child, had just been diagnosed with anaplastic astrocytoma grade III, a rare and aggressive malignant tumor. Her doctors urged her to end her pregnancy so that she could receive chemotherapy and radiation.
“I told them absolutely not,” Kann shared with Fox News Digital in an interview. Kann went on to give birth to a healthy baby girl.

Good for her. Self sacrifice is a noble thing.
Not all superheroes wear capes.
What an excellent witness of faith by a truly loving woman.
Some people realize you’re either with God or you’re with the world.
Heros are not those who are paid a salary to do a job they volunteered to do, knowing the risks.
By that definition, roofers (the most dangerous job by statistics) are heros.
No.
A hero is one who, regardless of the danger, steps up in the face of danger, risking even his, or her, very life, to save another.
This woman’s child will forever call mom a hero.
May she be blessed and her family be blessed in and through this trial and storm.
Per a previous story I read about her, she should already be dead according to the outlook her doctors gave her.
She likely won’t survive much longer, but at least she got to spend some time with her young child and rejected the advice to abort and go with the chemo.
Tough decision, but one that she should be proud of.
I read about this on Yahoo this morning. Some of the comments below the article were rather vile.
I know of a young mom who had gone from remission for colon cancer. When she was about to undergo a procedure to remove a mass, they discovered she was pregnant. She had been trying for a while, and was elated with the news. She gave birth to a healthy baby girl and died when the child was 5 months old. It was heart wrenching. Her only brother is one of my son’s best friends, and he took it very hard. She was so young, as I recall in her early 30’s.
Like what? Against this poor woman?
She gave her child a sibling. Knowing she might not be around.

I ain't over till it's over! God Bless her, her baby and husband!
Amen.
Life on earth is so finite and short... life in heaven is forever. God bless this woman and her family and may they have unbelievable joy when they all are reunited some day in the arms of Jesus!
Yep.
Cancer stricken? Abortion would not help that! Bless the woman who gave her proven death for her baby.
MIRACLES HAPPEN, but when she dies, she has an IMMEDIATE TRIP TO HEAVEN!!
Amen! Our Redeemer Lives!
