On this very floor in January, the whole world witnessed a historic contest for House Speaker.
I rise today to serve notice. Mr. Speaker, you are out of compliance with the agreement that allowed you to assume this role. The path forward for the House of Representatives is to either bring you into immediate total compliance or remove you, pursuant to a motion to vacate the chair.
I know that Washington isn’t a town where people are known for keeping their word. Speaker McCarthy, I’m here to hold you to yours.

I’d like an actual answer to what he has said. Who cares if he’s self promoting. These folks will slow walk everything then at the last minute they said there is no time.

One does have something to do with the other if McCarthy made a deal to do one, the impeachment inquiry, while giving up on the other, using the House's power of the purse.
If McCarthy has done that, and I bet that he has, then he is a uniparty sell-out.
That's the problem with government, no transparency. If he made a deal on behalf of the American people, perhaps we should know about it.

I am shocked at such allegations. Absolutely shocked, I tell you!
Like it or not McCarthy is what we have and, despite not being the ‘perfect’ conservative he has been effective. But sure. Waste 6 months, 8 months, 12 months, fighting and bickering for the “perfect” republican. The GOP loses the house, loses more of the Senate, Biden wins re-election, installs 2 new justices (or just packs SCOTUS), and there we go. A new ‘green’ single party democrat controlled nation in perpetuity. It will be a glorious utopia. The house is all standing in the way and every second they will waste on this is one more second another bureaucrat writes new rules and regulations to take another bit of our ever dwindling freedoms.
I could do an impeachment inquiry in one hour. Inquiry - waiste of time. IMPEACH THIS WEEK! Keep it uo Gaetz.
