....The collision occurred in the area of Mansfield Loop, around five miles from Donald Trump's golf course Trump National Charlotte.....

Well you’re right. I’ve owned sports cars as an adult and driven a 911 Targa with a racing clutch. They are a hinky ride. It was fun driving the boyfriends car but I wouldn’t want one for myself. You fail to concentrate for one second and chit can go wrong fast. They have a tricky rear end.
I remember one of those early sixties ramblers where the seats all folded down like one big bed. When double dating we called it The Adult Playpen.
Three a.m. suggests they were drinking a lot. Stupid kids do that and crash everything from old Chevies to new Porsches.
“What is a 16 year old doing out at 3AM? What is a 16 year old doing driving a Porsche.”
Dad and Mom gave her earthly goods instead of parenting.
“What is a 16 year old doing out at 3AM? What is a 16 year old
doing driving a Porsche.”
Doing what one might reasonably fear she would do. Terrible.
And the Loop is separated one way lanes with trees in between.
Because daddy has too much money yet not enough brains and thinks he and his chud offspring are special and better than other human beings.
I know a guy who has three children and their first cars were all Volvo station wagons. They either drove what Dad bought them or walked.
We had two vehicles and the only one the kids, including me, got to drive was a Ford Econoline Van. None of us had an accident and the only two times I was allowed to drive the car was my Junior and Senior proms.
I was too scared to drive badly and get my driving privileges revoked by Mom and Dad. Being able to drive by myself to football and hockey practices was too good to screw up.
“James Dean’s acting career was cut tragically short when he died in a car crash on September 30, 1955. Donald Trump was 9 years old at the time.......”
So, it was Trump’s fault!
Trump runs for re-election, Biden is forced to steal the election.
Biden does not have the mental capacity to ‘steal’ anything, the people behind him....l well that’s who should be watched, maybe ask some of them like a 🧐🧐🧐......paddle boarder.... oops too late.
Yep, no woman, and no girl should ever be behind the wheel of a Porsche, nor a race machine, ever.
Some of those LTDs had 400 V8 engines.
When I got my son his first car I purchased a 2-seater with manual transmission so:
a) he would never have 6 kids piled in that he needed to impress. (one blonde is likely as bad but unavoidable).
b) manual shift requires a degree of attention. Anything that improves a 16 year old's attention to driving, even slightly, is probably a good thing.
When my daughter was in high school I gave her my then 20 year old Ford F-150 to drive. Before I let her have it I showed her how to check the oil, brake and transmission fluid, how to use the jack and change a tire, and then made her change it back.
She took it with her when she went to college, but didn’t check the oil for a year and ended up burning out the engine. She has been meticulous about maintaining her vehicles ever since.
When I taught my daughters to drive about 10 years ago, I wanted to teach them to drive standard but no longer had any vehicles with standard transmission and couldn’t find any that I could borrow or lease.
I don’t know if you can even buy a vehicle with standard transmission any more, other than a few high price sports cars.
Good for you. Very few kids can drive a manual transmission today. Clutch? What’s a clutch. On the other hand, I got a Pathfinder for my daughter. A virtual tank. She totaled it. Lucky she wasn’t injured.
There’s a big difference between a 16-year old today and 16-year-old during the muscle car glory days.
