A judge sentenced That '70s Show star Danny Masterson to 30 years to life in prison Thursday for the rapes of two women two decades ago.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine F. Olmedo handed down the sentence to Masterson, 47, after hearing statements from the women about the trauma they experienced and the suffering caused by the disturbing memories in the years since.
The actor, who has been in custody since May, sat in court wearing a suit. He watched the women without visible reaction as they spoke.
"When you raped me, you stole from me," said one woman who Masterson was convicted of raping in 2003. "That's what rape is, a theft of the spirit.
"You are pathetic, disturbed and completely violent," she said. "The world is better off with you in prison."
The other woman Masterson was found guilty of raping said he "has not shown an ounce of remorse for the pain he caused." She told the judge, "I knew he belonged behind bars for the safety of all the women he came into contact with. I am so sorry, and I'm so upset. I wish I'd reported him sooner to the police."

I don’t believe he did it. I dont think the stories told are what actually occurred.
He can probably take his Bill Clinton wall posters to prison
Likely because the kind sex you want is not just piv sex, but involve activities that can leave her injured.
He can worship Tom cruise and Scientologists while he breaks rocks in the big house
His guests talks abut them and how the cult covered for Masterson for years and how the DA was able to waive the statutes of limitations.
Praise Xenu!
His sentence is probably a message to the Church of Scientology. He’ll get the time greatly reduced in appeals.
The fact that some women have stepped forward and been given justice has encouraged more women to come forward.
I’m sure it was just flimsy evidence that sent him away for 30 to life 🤪
I’m not sure how you prove or disprove something that happened 20 years ago unless there are eyewitnesses or rape kit evidence was preserved and they could use it for DNA testing.
Second Jury. First jury didn't buy it.
According to commentary up thread, the women's testimony was changed from "he gave us drinks and we felt woozy" in the first trial to "He drugged us" in the second trial, but with no proof of this claim.
Allowing the witness to say "he drugged us" when they previously only testified "we felt woozy after drinking" is a quantum difference, and without proof, the judge shouldn't have allowed such a prejudicial statement.
Listen to the podcast.
I read somewhere earlier that one of them said she woke up while he was having sex with her and tried to fight him off and she claims he choked her.
It's still just what she is alleging.
This is the direction I lean also.
Happens far too often. The "Innocence Project" specializes in cases where men have been convicted of crimes, and then the DNA from the crime scene reveals they didn't do it because it's *NOT* their DNA!
So we have over two hundred cases of men being convicted who did not actually do the crime they were convicted of.
So yeah, our criminal justice system is a mess that often gets it wrong.
Exactly. If this was a real deal, they should have raised a stink back 20 years ago. Does anyone know if they filed an actual police report back then?
I’m sure your bleeding heart criminal saviors will come to the creep’s rescue and get him out of jail to rape again
There was at least one woman died when it was Clearwater, Florida back in the 60s. I don’t know where it is now. Nor care.
The jury said otherwise you don’t know anything
