The judge allowed the prosecution to say he drugged those women when that fact wasn’t even established.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he wins on appeal.

He is gulity as hell. Listen to Mike Rowe’s podcast in the link above.
Mmm, he’s lily white.
And this is another example of how broken our legal system is.
Did he actually rape them, or did they dopy their stories from a “Law and Order” episode, as E. Jean Carroll did?
Listen to thepodcast in this link and then tell me what you think.

Juries are told ‘you only have to believe the woman’, I’ve seen it firsthand. It isn’t always about proof, which is insane.
I’ve no idea if he’s guilty or not but this seems like a case where there’s no evidence, other than testimony.
Either the Judge and prosecutor are idiots,(a real possibility) or this is the plan to make this go away while everyone can pretend they did their job.
“We certainly need a lot more prosecutors going to prison for abusing their authority.”
Mike Nifong for example.
That's what I thought. It's a bad verdict, just like too many of our modern court rulings.
I don't even know the guy's politics, so I assume he's a liberal, but this doesn't sound like justice to me.
I have little doubt that he was in sexual encounters with the accusers. But I’d have to see the evidence, given that he was old enough and well-known enough to be aware that he would risk his future employability by seriously mistreating a woman. If it was violent enough to cause injury, they could have come forward years ago even without #MeToo.
+1.
He very well may be, but an allegation kept silent for 20 years is the very definition of “reasonable doubt” when it comes to conviction in my book.
The cult covers for all its members because they pay huge amounts to the them. Listen to the podcast and have your eyes opened about how evil scientology is.
Partly because the police ignored it. He’s a scientologist, they’re very powerful in Hollywood, and cops still don’t like biting the golden goose. Remini’s scientology show had a double length episode dedicated to Masterson situation. Women tried going to the cops and were basically patted on the head and sent on their way. The system was protecting him. Remini even had a hard time getting the episode on the air. That fight is really what started the public pressure that eventually led to charges.

They were both in relationships with him at the time of the rapes, it seems.
