I will report more when I have something more than rumor and idle speculation. I don't want to get out over my skis on this one.

Groan!

There is a 3500 foot drop in the 410 miles between the Colorado border and my location, a fairly easy uphill 10 day cross country ski trek (provided it was actually level the whole way, you have snow more than 5 or so inches deep, and it does not melt within 2 or 3 days of falling.) While I have not been there, I would prefer to take the 11 hour car trip to Denver.
