How about a metal pan or coffee can with a metal lid? For larger items, maybe a galvanized trash can and lid?

Microwave or fridge should work as well....right?

Aluminum foil works as well as a bag made from woven wire

I wonder about an ordinary potato chip bag. In those I throw away, the interior is metallic film coated. Place the phone in a potato chip bag, seal the end and then call it from another phone. If it doesn’t ring then the potato chip bag is s de facto faraday bag

Just throw them in the microwave. But there are also many manufacturers of Faraday bags.

People who were supposed to be in covid quarantine for 10 days (after daring to travel in defiance of Turdeau) either left their phones on and at home (so the trackers thought the people were at home), or they brought them with them in a tin can, in case of emergency. I verified that my phone wouldn’t receive calls or texts while it was in a can and it didn’t. Nor could it be tracked through location services or the IMEI, MEID or ICCID numbers. We all knew the government was tracking us and many did everything they could to thwart them.
