How did they rob your daughter of 20K?
I’ve been with Bank of America forever. I don’t like the things they do but I haven’t had any problems with them personally. My mother absolutely hated them, I was young when my grandmother died, I just remember probate court over her estate, Bank of America involved, and most of the estate ended up going to lawyers and the Bank.

How is your granddaughter, the one that lost custody of her kids, doing?

That is a good question and one they are fighting to get the answers to.

The bank allowed someone else to access their funds is all I know.

My daughter says it has to be an inside job for someone to have gotten all the access info to their accounts.

Granddaughter didn't lose custody totally but has limited time with them as she wouldn't move back to town her soon to be ex lives in, judge ruled they had to go to school there.

I haven't talked to her lately but she was handling things pretty well the last time I did.

Thanks for asking.

My first dealings with Bank of America in California was when my husbands uncle passed away. My husbands sister was designated to take care of the probate. I don’t know why she didn’t ask where we banked but instead she just had them send the check to Bank of America. We waited and waited and never heard anything. We called and called etc and they kept saying “We don’t have a check here” We double checked with my husbands sister and she said she had it sent on such and such a day. Finally we went down to the bank and started to raise a little bit of cane. Finally the bank manager opened up his desk drawer and THERE WAS THE CHECK.

When we moved back to WA we banked with Seattle First, but at some point it became Bank of America. I watched as they kept giving loans to ILLEGALS and people who couldn’t qualify for home mortages so we took our money out of their. Then we watched as those homes went through forclosure.

Bank of America had built a BIG beautiful bank here in Pasco not that many years ago, but recently they closed down a LOT of their banks and that was one of them.
