Well, the fall is an excellent time to visit TX....these clouds and rains are (finally) bringing some cooler weather.
I used to love visiting family, in EP, in the fall....crisp air and great Mexican food go so well, together!

I hope Spunky is ok - she is mid 80s. I know she can be a bit abrupt now and again, but she admits when she’s wrong and will correct herself when necessary. She’s pretty sharp for her age, so I cut her some slack if her delivery isn’t as soothing as we’d like.
I think it was Vannity who said, years ago, that journalism is dead. That’s pretty funny, if you think about it, as he joined up with the very forces he was calling out a few years ago.

I need some help with making rolls. Well help with two things, rolls and meatloaf. I didn’t ping anybody specifically because I knew I would forget someone
rolls: I made some dinner rolls that had butter, milk, and sugar in it. The directions said to bake until 200°. For some reason I crossed that out and put 180. So the question is, if you have a square pan of rolls where do you take the temperature? The temperature of the outer rolls was 205°. The inner rolls was 180. That was when I quit baking. The inner rolls were nice and moist but the outer rolls were a little dry. I’ve made them before where the outer rolls are fine but the inner ones are gooey.
So where does the temperature get taken? And how do you get both inners and outers acceptable? I’m thinking of next time just rimming the pan with rolls and skipping the center. Seems I can’t get both good.
meatloaf: does anybody have a really good meatloaf recipe. I’ve made lots of variations but I’ve never made one that I thought oh I’ll have to make that one again. Well except the one that I rolled up prosciutto and mozzarella inside it. I liked that but hubby didn’t. He likes a traditional style

The Radical Left Governor, Josh Shapiro, has just announced a switch to Automatic Voter Registration, a disaster for the Election of Republicans, including your favorite President, ME! Likewise, the RNC, and Ronna McDaniel, must spend their time working on this, instead of meaningless Debates where I am up by more than 50 points. Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin, and others, are far more important than “Aida,” Sloppy Chris, Lyin’ Mike Pence, Nikki “Birdbrain” Haley, Ron (“Dead Campaign”) DeSanctimonious, and the others. Start suing now, & get the right lawyers this time! The Pennsylvania Republican Party must likewise not let this happen. It will be a disaster for our Nation, which is being destroyed by these Lunatics, Marxists, & Fascists, whose only real ability is to CHEAT on Elections. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Crooked Joe Biden, who is killing the United Autoworkers with his WEAK stance on China and his ridiculous insistence on All Electric Cars, every one of which will be made in China, saw that I was going to Michigan this week (Wednesday!), so the Fascists in the White House just announced he would go there tomorrow. That was the only way to get him out of the basement and off his lazy a..!
