HOW WONDERFUL!!!
Will you be able to give us a 1st hand report while you are enjoying being there in person?
I am very envious of you being able to go as it isn’t in the cards for me anymore.
To: CottonBall
Howdy, CB!
So good to see you.
How are things going on your new Prepper Thread?
To: CottonBall
Funny and cute, thanks, CB!
To: Publius

Hi LG!
A lot more active the first day than I expected. It’ll slow down quickly, I can’t seem to keep the conversations /topics going
How are things with you? How was the retreat?

Very interesting history. Teachers in my area really fell-short on American history. It was all dates to remember and numbers aren't my thing. Now centering on actual events and how it lead up to these events would have caught my attention. Thanks.

Hi CB. Hope you've had a good day. Sunny and nice here but outside guy would rather come inside and listen to a movie as he sleeps.

One event leads to another, and public school history doesn’t understand how that works.

A lady running for city council came to the door yesterday and she was first very nice. The first thing that she said was her concern for budget cuts for our animal shelter. She was going to stop that. She then she said she was a former teacher. THAT was my opening to see what she really is like.
After a couple comments I said, "Isn't it horrible what they've done to the contents of the Scholastic books today? She gave me a strange look and said, "Well, things do change and we need to understand this. It be my my job its the education board.".
She told me everything I needed to know.

The retreat was a great success.
They said they had so much fun.
It was well worth the time and effort I and hubby put in.
Glad the Prepping thread is off to a good start.
Don’t sell yourself short, with all the prepping you have done, all the knowledge it will be a great thread.
YOU CAN DO IT!

The First Time Congress Voted to Impeach a Sitting President
READ: http://w-j.co/s/adc49
Ironically, the Southern Democrat whom House Republicans charged with “high crimes and misdemeanors” had remained loyal to the Union during the Civil War.
Andrew Johnson of Tennessee had served as President Abraham Lincoln’s running mate during the 1864 election. After Lincoln’s second inauguration on March 4, 1865, Johnson became vice president.
