Fossil fuels and coal have prolong people’s lifespans by decades. Uninformed idiot "Greenies" have no comprehension of how much our culture is built on, and depends on, so called fossil fuels.
If it wasn't for vehicle fuel and thousands of other everyday products derived from petroleum we would still be living an 1890's lifestyle.
Horses, not cars and trucks would be crowding city streets and the biggest "climate" and health issues would not be carbon emissions,
it would be the piles of horse poop, rivers of urine and maggot infested, fly blown carcasses of dead horses soiling city streets.
In 1890 large cities were a crowded mess. New York City had over 100,000 horses producing about 2.5 million pounds of manure every day.
No one could figure out what to do with all the stinking horse manure, urine, and rotting horse carcasses on the streets spreading disease.....

Morning! Rain on docket today in our area. Determined to figure out how to use air fryer. In next few days will be making up apple butter and Aloo Gobi - an Indian dish I like. Have lots of leftovers on hand in frig n freezer. If I chose not to cook for week or two- I’m covered.
Off day yesterday. Didn’t do much
Need to research more clear liquid diet. My upcoming digestive surgery will require 2 weeks prior and 2-4 weeks post clear liquid
Herb tea n veggie broth are all I figured out. I don’t do jello or bone broth
Guessing I’ll lose weight along way

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton released a scathing letter directed towards the White House after he was acquitted of state impeachment charges Saturday.
Paxton, a Republican, was accused of corruption, bribery and unfitness for office by a bipartisan group of Texas state senators. All 12 Democrats in the jury voted for his impeachment, along with two Republicans: Sens. Robert Nichols and Kelly Hancock.
The attorney general was accused of misusing his political power to hire Nate Paul, a real estate developer who employed Paxton’s alleged mistress Laura Olson. Paul was indicted in June for allegedly making false statements to banks.
Paxton was also accused of dereliction of duty, retaliating against former employees who reported his alleged wrongdoings to authorities and making false statements in regard to whistleblower accusations from former staffers.
The jury needed 21 votes to confirm the impeachment, but a two-thirds majority was not reached. The vote finished just before 1 p.m. Saturday.
“The sham impeachment coordinated by the Biden Administration with liberal House Speaker Dade Phelan and his kangaroo court has cost taxpayers millions of dollars, disrupted the work of the Office of Attorney General and left a dark and permanent stain on the Texas House,” Paxton’s letter read.
“The weaponization of the impeachment process to settle political differences is not only wrong, it is immoral and corrupt,” the embattled attorney general added.
Paxton then accused the White House of promoting “lawless policies” and promised that President Biden will be “held accountable.”
“Finally, I can promise the Biden Administration the following: buckle up because your lawless policies will not go unchallenged,” the statement read. “We will not allow you to shred the constitution and infringe on the rights of Texans. You will be held accountable.”

No date yet for my surgery. I’ve had all of the pre-requisite tests and a lot of them. Now just waiting to get the go ahead from Medicare and coordinate with the doctor. I’ve done my part just waiting as usual

So nice hearing from you. I really like apple butter and cherry butter. Our local orchard has so many good canned food items. And our last visit included visiting the stores. They have wine, whiskey, gin, rum and vodka. Tours included in the winerydistillery area.

A couple years ago the large family lost their oldest member and wanted to sale everything. Luckily one young family was not wanting to give up all their families work and reached out for help buying out the family lots and continuing the business.
My boss at the time being a local guy who like many had visited Huber’s growing up and I’m sure taking his family there especially in the fall. My boss helped the young couple buy out the different sections. Not all but most.

Under the new owners it has actually grown and their quality has excelled. Last time we ate there Fuzzy Zoeller (golf Pro)was there eating lunch. Another very sweet guy the dirty Deep State hit on.

Your diet sounds challenging but with your talent doable. Prayers your way all goes extremely well. We drink cherry green tea all winter in the evenings.

Very good and interesting post IM! I really enjoy reading about our past the growths. I guess I said it correctly.
I was telling my husband I still miss the sound of driving over brick streets. Sounds funny to mention brick streets over everything else. Memories last and brick streets are gone, that is here in my city.
