I’ve had lots of practice, so I pretty much do it the way the beginning of Ms.B’s instructions went. A compliant cat is helpful! I tried to stick the pill all the way into the back of their throat, so they have no option but to swallow it.
if he takes liquids better, you can try to dissolve a pill in a small amount of liquid.very small. Mine have taken liquids ok, as long as it’s a small amount. Same concept - stick the dropper or syringe in the back of his throat.
Disguising it in a favorite food has never worked for me,but it’s worth a try. that one would hurt your neck a lot less
