My son has 3 golden labs. The oldest one is his hunting dog and is always by my son’s side when possible. When they got the second dog, Mike would sit and pat him with Archer (first dog) sitting right there. I swear the dog was almost crying. He would look first at the crime scene (new dog being scratched) and then look at Mike, stunned and sad lol. He only carried it on for a minute - poor Archer was devastated.

Awww. I boarded my last horse at a stable. He would throw an absolute fit if I paid any attention to another horse.
I had a sweet pekingese dog when I was a teen. Had a cat too. The dog was very particular about her food. But if she turned up what she had of a nose at her food, all I had to do was tell her I’d just give it to the kitty and she would eat it right down. Ha!

It was. I worked for a PEU as CFO for several years. (They paid well) I wasn’t involved in their activities, but did I get an education! They ruined California.
I actually sent money to Scott Walker as he did good on that issue. I remember my boss had a sign in his office “we stand with Wisconsin”, and I was thinking “so do I”.
They found out I was a conservative after they hired me, but appreciated the things I accomplished as far as their finances were concerned so they didn’t hold it against me.
That’s awesome!
