And I know I can’t always vouch for what is said, although I try to vet the information.
Sometimes it is a losing battle due to the nature of breaking news.

Bryon would be a nice counterbalance to that Swamp idiot Tom Emmers, McCarthy’s best friend, and who McCarthy just endorsed.

I also try to post sources that are credible, because I don’t want to be part of spreading stuff that just isn’t real. It’s just not right to do that. Talk about fake news!!!
I agree, sometimes things are breaking fast and it’s easy to pass something on that has changed by the time we post it. That’s a different matter.
Just last night I read on two posts, credible posts, that McCarthy was behind the speaker debacle, because he wanted his position back. Well, I posted it, but didn’t post the link (senior moment). Jane asked me for the link, so I went looking for it. Exit, I scrolled the sites I was on for over an hour! I could not find it! I felt terrible, but I know I didn’t imagine it lol.
In any case, I just think if any of us are going to post anything that leads to questions, we should be willing to answer them, or say that we don’t know. It’s just plain common courtesy.

I thought I was a realist, but for my liberal family, I am delusional. So, ya, there should be something to back up what is said, but then again, perhaps just giving the link to where it came from then just say we don't agree or understand why they come to these conclusions and leave it at that.

What I have witnessed in the last few weeks just displayed to the world how out of touch some of these members are with the American people.
That is horrifying!
It wiped out any inhibitions they might have had..
and killing people made them feel invincible!
