I second Exit’s suggestion regarding your mom. I think she’s about the same age as many of us. I think she’d enjoy something a little different but with the same background that she shares. Wouldn’t hurt to invite her
next time you’re together take your tablet or some thing larger for her to see or maybe bring it up on her computer

Heartbreaking words. My friend told me she doesn't think she'll live much longer. Even said she felt she's possibly already dead and was just looking down on herself. And now you post this about your friend.
God is certainly busy through these stressful times. And I'm sure you, as with me, begged God to help me say the right words. How to give strength and hope when they are so broken. Your friend as mine saw something in us to give them comfort so I'm sure you gave him what was needed but now its up to them to trust in God.
God please give our friends the love and comfort you hold and open their eyes to the miracle of life and peace. Give them hope for the future. Amen.

Where was this anger as millions of migrants poured over the southern border?
Where was this anger as US debt rises over $33T?
Where was this anger when the FBI rounded up Trump supporters and threw them in prison?
Where is this anger as the “justice” system tries to take out Biden’s top opponent in 2024?
They sit back and do nothing as our country burns but fume when their buddy loses his Speaker role.

They truly live in an alternate universe . . .
They arrive newly elected with ‘fresh ideas’, enthusiasm, and excitement and ‘then’ they receive the ‘orientation’ and quickly become just another swamp rat doing the bidding of the Swamp.
Term limits sound good, but they will never be implemented by the ‘Swamp’..... can’t upset the apple cart ya know . . .
