Joe Biden is an establishment President. Democrats and the RINO Party apparently, would rather see Biden re-elected than a popular MAGA candidate. I think Bill Barr for sure, would rather see Biden, Harris, etc., re-elected, rather than another Trump term.
Suppose the corrupt establishment puppet President Biden, is successful in impeding the MAGA candidate by incarceration, endless lawfare fake charges, or somehow legally disqualifying the MAGA candidate from running in 2024. This election interference, which would never be possible without the mainstream propaganda media, is absolutely uncountered by the unwilling and enfeebled Republican RINOcrat party. Suppose there is no MAGA candidate:

Then the US is no different than North Korea.
Elect him anyway. Then he can pardon himself.

I am seeing very ineffective, or very little push back by the Repub establishment on all the fake charges. There seems to be no effective strategy, or perhaps no strategy at all. Republicans are just sitting back to see how it all plays out. Am I wrong on my opinion of what Republicans are doing?

Jim Jordan is saying he wants to investigate the DA in Georgia, but what will come of that.
Some Republican presidential candidates express support for issuing pardons if they get elected.
What actions, if any, are planned? Besides Jim Jordan as noted. But Jim Jordan can investigate all he wants, but he has no power or authority over that legal process in Georgia, does he? Even if his investigation turns up collusion between the Jack Smith indictment and Fanny Willis’ indictment?
North Korea is not a good comparison. They don't use any pretext of "law," even the flimsiest of one, to take down opponents.
But it certainly makes us no different from China or Russia.

2) If indicted, but not tried or convicted, there is nothing to stop someone from running and winning. Should Trump win in 2024, he could immediately pardon himself from all fed charges. He would still be subject to NY charges by Bragg, if they were still around.
3) Should a NY state jury convict, nothing could happen to Trump until 2029 when he left office, for there is no provision in the constitution that a president can be removed except by the House impeaching and the Senate convicting.
4) Clinton’s CIVIL case from Paula Jones was ruled as legitimate because it had nothing to do with removing him from office. The impeachment came when it was discovered by Ken Starr that Clinton had lied in federal testimony ABOUT the Jones case.

Democrat DA’s need to indict all Republican candidates for insurrection because they are running to over throw the government, i.e., want to defeat the incumbent democrapts. Remember, to the Dems, the Constitution is extinct.

RINOs have name recognition and media support. Nickey Haley did little for South Carolina as governor, but now is a RINO with a heck of a bull horn. She could be elected Senator from SC on name recognition alone.
We retreat, reassess and plan the next attack.
In the mean time we fight to win. We have a warrior taking hits for us and we need to pick up our share of the battle.
But the reality is the battle goes back to state and local as Our Founding Fathers designed. If you lose state and local, you are lost. “A well regulated militia being necessary.............” It is time to group up NOW.
In our lifetimes we have witnessed the demise of a major world power. It is an interesting study. It is possible that may happen to us.
To further answer your question, what does history teach us? This is not the first time things have happened.
