A special agent with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is dead after being accidentally shot by another IRS agent during a training exercise Thursday at a federal gun range in Phoenix, officials confirmed.

Special agents with the FBI’s Phoenix field office are investigating the shooting. “The FBI’s investigation will be methodical and thorough to address every element of the incident,” an emailed statement said. Those findings will then be turned over to the U.S. Attorney’s Office (District of Arizona) for review.
The special agents involved in Thursday’s shooting were part of the IRS’s Criminal Investigations unit with the Phoenix Field Office.

What the other shooters on the range might have been thinking could be a reason for the armed IRS agents.
Don’t think so; the date on the article is Aug 17.
Hiring non citizens in the Space Force might not be a bad idea if the plan is to send them all to the moon or Mars.
Even those in the IRS’s CID, the ones who are armed, are little more than bagmen or legal leg breakers a la org crime.
Praying to god this happens 88,000 times more.
Almost all women, and some men (the men that act like women).
Women aren’t held to the same levels of accountability and play victim cards, vagina cards, fake cry not because of what they did but because they are caught/facing bad consequences for what they did.
It’s the 16th Amendment od the Constitution. If it’s in the Constitution its constitutional!
And IRS agents are being trained in firearm use for what reason exactly?
This doesn’t make me suspicious. Oh, no…. not at all……
It’s a start
Looks like this was the first IRS officer ever shot and killed in the line of duty, and his accidental shooter was another IRS Agent!

I love that song.
Burt Bacarach and Hal David created scores of beautiful songs back in the 60’s and 70’s. People of my (your?) generation were spoiled, having the best of every kind of popular music and not really understanding how rare that is.
I loved so many of Bacharach’s melodies, and tempo changes.
He understood how to make music into an art form that also happened to be quite believable and thus entertaining.
Yes. Agree!
I have this and play it almost daily.
