All Trump has to do is say it’s not a national issue. SCOTU turned it crack to the states, it can only be decided there. Any national law would be struck down.
He could do that by stating that it's a states' right issue, which is what it became after the SCOTUS decision...
*What he, and every other Republican who will get ambushed on this question, need to do is to tell the leftist attack-reporter to get lost*
It’s only an ambush if you don’t expect it. You may be right.
It was an excellent interview.
You’ll be pilloried for saying that. But you are right. The revenge of the whores is gigantic. And Trump has already done the heavy lifting by being THE driving force behind Roe vs Wade getting overturned.
Now it’s time to use a little strategic thinking.
And part of me even thinks the Supremes overturning it 4 months before the election was no accident.
Why not? He is telling them there will not be a national abortion ban.
How do you expect Conservatives to win over single women? Tell them we support abortion on demand?
You lose far more votes among the pro-life than you gain with that.
The debate was the Gimp Olympics
No numbers from the debate meaning it was a DeSaster.
That would actually be a good response. And it seems to be literally true. Congress cannot override the Supreme court with a mere law reinstating what they struck down.
“No numbers from the debate meaning it was a DeSaster.”
I see what you did. ;>))
hehehe... that’s FU FUnny right there.
‘tis but a click, nothing more...
I’m sure the Tucker interview crushed the GOP debate, but the X numbers do not indicate the number of people who actually watched it. Personally, I watched it on America’s Voice since I can stream that on my TV. Twitter doesn’t work as well. One thing that I am positive, the GOP debate was not streamed from multiple sources. You had to have cable and had to watch it on FNC. That’s a shrinking number of people. Leave it to Ronna to totally screw things up. She is absolutely clueless.
Well, they can try, but they can only get away with it for a short time on a controversial issue, since someone would definitely sue and get it back in front of the Supreme Court quickly.
‘Tis but 200 million clicks... must be nothing more. LOL
200 million of anything is gigantic.
There are a lot of sour grapes here that wish their candidate wasn’t at a banana republic deepstate firing squad.
But ya never know, given the next round of debates maybe a few of them might also choose to do an interview. maybe Rachel madcow or al Sharpton can fit them into their schedule.
Oh yes, and also this is why the “national abortion ban” is a good litmus test for politicians, but not in the way that most might think.
If a Republican talks about passing such a ban, what it really means is either:
a) that politician is extremely stupid or uninformed about the Constitution and how the US government works
or
b) that politician thinks GOP voters are extremely stupid or uninformed on those matters
Just finished watching it. I’ve watched Trump a lot. He wasn’t talking to the Republican base in this interview. That was my take away. Also, Kamala speaks in Rhymes. That was hilarious. Hoping someone clips that out, had me laughing.
Exactly.
Obviously that’s wrong because not everyone who watches even has a timeline.
