British nurse to spend rest of her life in prison for murdering seven babies
London CNN — A British nurse was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on Monday for the murders of seven babies and the attempted murders of six others at the UK hospital where she worked.
Lucy Letby, 33, was handed a whole life order by Manchester Crown Court in northern England, meaning she will never be released. Letby refused to appear in the dock, prompting calls for laws to be changed so that defendants must attend their sentencing hearings.
She was found guilty on Friday by a jury, in a case that horrified the country and made her Britain’s most prolific child serial killer of recent times.
Explaining why he decided Letby must spent the rest of her life in prison, Justice James Goss said: “This was a cruel, calculated and cynical campaign of child murder involving the smallest and most vulnerable of children.”
The judge addressed Letby as if she was in court during the sentencing. He ordered his remarks and the victim impact statements read in court earlier in the day to be handed to the convicted serial killer.

Dr. Harold Shipman is one of the UK’s most notorious serial killers. A GP in Hyde, Greater Manchester, he was convicted in 2000 of murdering 15 people between 1995 and 1998, but is suspected to have potentially killed as many as 250 between 1975 and 1998.
Someone pointed out that not only is he a “hobbyist” by today’s standards, but the high end of his possible victims are today “amateur numbers”, because some euthanasia doctors in the UK are killing people in five figures, and getting paid to do so.
The Netherlands is leading the path at killing unwanted or “defective” babies. Something as small as an easily fixed hairlip might get a baby killed, depending on how homicidal the doctor is feeling that day.
I’m wondering is women’s prisons in GB have sweat socks and bar soap. I’m sure they have mop handles.

I disagree. A proper sentence would be carried out at dawn tomorrow. It would consist of a good stout piece of hempen rope and a short drop followed by tossing her corpse into a sounder of wild hogs.

There are sickos right here in the USA who would give this demon a medal and throw a parade in her honor for what she has done.

My preference would be to draw and quarter her and then burn her at the stake, but I would be satisfied if they simply took her outside and shot her like any other rabid animal.
While those who murder thousands of innocents in abortion clinics make a fine living.
