I always nuke them unless I’m making potato salad. ;)

I am in hospital getting IV antibiotics...red line going up my arm was concerning...appears it is a strep infection...(but they are blaming the cat scratch I got 2 days ago) now saying I have to stay another night...

Depends upon where you live. For me, it’s nearly time to harvest the potatoes I planted in May in Zone 5a.

For other Zones:

Planting Dates For Potatoes By Zone

Zones 2a through 6b – Plant your potatoes in April and May.

Zone 7a – Plant from January through March and again in August for a fall crop.

Zone 7b – Plant from January through March.

Zones 8a and 8b – Plant in January and February, and a fall crop in August.

“Diana I will never grow borage again.”

LOL! I warned you! But, on the bright side, you’ll never have to plant it again. ;)

I ended up with ONE Borage plant in my ‘Beneficial Bug Mix’ and that’s plenty.

That sounds great! I’m still learning my way around my Instant Pot, but my sister has an air fryer and she just loves it. :)

I'm not much of a 'chipper' but if we're entertaining then I buy Lays.

Try these pretzels if you can find them. Dot's. Not cheap, but well worth the treat once in a while.

In reality, you could probably make them yourself - similar to making Chex Mix.

German Potato Salad is SUCH A ‘Wisconsin Thing.’ Gee - 90% of us living here are German or at least part German...maybe that’s why? LOL!

My Mom makes a great GPS. Beau always requests it when we’re getting together.

I remember your Dad telling me about his travels in Europe. Your folks are the nicest people. I hope they’re well. :)

Oh, Darn!

Well, you’re in the right place to get better, that’s for sure. Glad you caught it in time because those infections are nothing to mess with. :)

My wife has started to ‘air fry’ our garden-fresh Mulato Islano (similar to ancho/poblano) peppers to incorporate into our pico de gallo (basically fresh salsa), and that has really ‘kicked up the flavor a notch’. YUM!

Yeah, I went out this morning and tidied up the tomato sprawl and grabbed every tomato that was showing even the slightest sign of color and they can ripen indoors.

Need to run to the store real quick and then I’m indoors for the day. Found a really good youtube channel that teaches electrical/hydraulics and automation. Will help with work and my tunnel project.

I remember the 2011/2012 heat wave years. 2012 is when we spent the summer tearing down a two story house. The materials became this place. I doubt I could do it now.

It’s 93 degrees outside and 117 in the greenhouse!

I moved Mums and Zinnia seedlings (about 1/2 grown) to a bench outside in the shade for the day - they’d be cooked by now if I’d have forgotten them.

I took apart the puppies’ kennel so they have nice airflow in there, now. I had a tarp over top for rain, but no rain predicted for at least 10 days out. Both have moved to a shady side of the house where they’re sleeping in the dirt.

Kennel dogs were only out until 11am - I moved everyone IN where it was shaded and about 20 degrees cooler. Everyone is a lazy lump today - and I am, too! :)

I followed your advice and only used a few seeds each in my 8 planters. I had a wall of borage up to my shoulders. Granted the flowers were pretty and the bees liked them but before they could produce seed I yanked them all and we cut up for the compost pile. It was a load. I don’t want ANY coming up next year. The other flowers were great.

Good! Skip the Borage. The rest of them will still bring in the Good Bugs. :)
