Hmmmmm Apparently there are only 2 genders of peacocks.
Why not just place a Bounty on the Peacocks, for a limited time only - No Bag Limit! This plan seems to work for Pythons.
I would suspect those birds would be edible and taste something like Turkey.
Peacocks can be pests... especially if you keep a garden.
Eat them. They make for a very fine meal. I’m no kidding.
They taste just like chicken. Cull the flock.
They are commercially available ornamental fowl. Theres a market for them, I’m seeing US prices from $50-475 a head.
I see a business.
Why not just shoot them?
They’ve invaded without invitation. Crossed boundaries. Residents are forced to accept them. They strut their stuff. We get stuck with the bill.

I remember in India in the ‘60’s, the gov’t launch a sterilization program to stem the growing population. As an inducement, they would give a transistor portable radio, then a really desirable item, to any male who volunteered for a vasectomy. Over a two year period, they gave away millions upon millions of radios but there was no decrease in the birth rate. After months of studying the data, they discovered they had sterilized over 90% of males age 65 and older and virtually no one under the age of 30.
Maybe we should try this on our urban yutes?

I rather like peacocks. They are loose all over the SF Zoo. I even like how they sound. They stroll along the paths among the visitors, apparently without a care in the world.
A teaching moment for my daughter (she was three), was when a peacock sneaked up on her and stole a cookie out of her hand. Trauma.

Because of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization (2022), overturning Roe v. Wade, leftist women are now getting spayed, and leftist men are getting vasectomies by peacocks.
Arabs used to neuter excess male camels by holding on to their legs and smashing their testicles with two bricks, but this hasn’t caught on with Democrats outside of parts of California.

To survive the Ford character kills and roasts peacocks. Heche at first thinks they’re too beautiful to kill but then chows down rather than die of starvation.
