It’s ridiculously hot in central Florida right now with no rain for a long time and none in sight and no break in temperature. Working like a dog to try and keep AC from conking out because it’s on older side and it’s working overtime-I am out of work and can’t afford replacement. It’s been this hot before- it’s summer and you expect occasional temperatures in mid to upper nineties, but it’s odd that with high heat and some wind present that there are no afternoon thunderstorms. I also think they lie about actual temperature- maybe it’s 94 but they report daily highs of 98 or 99. Do I think the ridiculous amount of development chopping down all the trees and creating massive concrete jungle contributes to heat? Yes! Just stand in grass in shade vs concrete in the sun. Do I believe in this climate change garbage? NO!!! However it wouldn’t surprise me if what we are experiencing is a result of the morons trying to play god and manipulate the climate AND that all the climate change rhetoric is just an attempt to cover what they’ve tried and screwed up!!
