Missouri police are on the hunt for two teenage girls after one of them was caught on camera brutally assaulting a Walgreens employee who had tried to stop them from shoplifting.
The horrific incident happened on August 2 in the city of Independence, about 10 miles east of Kansas City.
'An employee of the business was assaulted when they attempted to intervene in a shoplift,' the Independence Police Department said in a statement.
The footage, captured by a witness inside a car, shows a girl wearing a white shirt and red purse throwing the employee to the ground outside the store.
The girl is seen punching the employee, who is reportedly in her 60s, as she's on the ground.
Another teen girl is seen yelling in the background as the attack unfolds.
Police said the two teens had been inside the store with a third teen and an adult before the assault.
When the group walked in the store, only one of the teens had sunglasses on.
However, when they walked out, one of the teens without sunglasses had a pair on, according to police.
The employee reportedly told the adult woman who was with the teens to pay for the item but she refused.
The two teenage suspects then came back in the store, with one of them grabbing a Sprite and spraying it in the employee’s face.
The employee told police the teens attacked her after she blocked the Sprite.
The employee has since recovered and is planning on pressing charges, Fox4 KC reported.

The cheap and easy solution to this is corporal punishment for minor offenses, as done in Singapore. No running up 10 crimes while on no cost bail awaiting trial. Use inmates to apply the whoopings. Going to Juvee or hanging with the homies in jail might be a cool resume-builder for some. Having your back and arse shamefully whipped is not. Done correctly it’s not cruel, and it darn sure shouldn’t be unusual.
Public stocks. Then drop them in Central America.
