Before Milli Vanilli, there was Boney M, managed by the same guy who managed MV.

We’ve reached the point in rock music, where classical music has been for years. It’s all been done, and now people just listen to the classics.

The 70’s music can’t be matched - even when you include disco.

I remember when there were horns - real ones - in pop music.
And yes, I remember when people could sing without a lot of electronic help.

I came of age in the ‘60’s & ‘70’s, hard to beat the great rock music of those decades, and I still listen to and enjoy it.

Are you asking if anyone remembers music before the 90’s?
Yes.
The 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s.

Other rap music, which I despise, I think music is every bit as good today as it was the late ‘70s on.

Well, let's not romanticize the past too much - a lot of famous bands of the past mimed playing their instruments over music that was actually recorded by session musicians. The Beach Boys' best album - Pet Sounds - was effectively a solo album written, produced and recorded by Brian Wilson with the Wrecking Crew as his session musicians. The Monkees, of course, were guys miming playing instruments - and it never did anything to prevent their popularity. Same with the Partridge Family, Bread, the Mamas & the Papas, the Grass Roots - there's a reason Muscle Shoals and the Wrecking Crew are now famous.
The only thing preventing the bands of the past from using auto-tune and computers was the fact that they didn't exist and the fact that they could get real session musicians for the same purpose.

We have been listening to “yacht rock” playlists recently for that reason. 70s music was really good.

There are a ton of great bands out there. You won’t hear them on the radio, though. You have to dig for them.
