I misread the headline and thought it said that the Sikhs had been arrested.
That’s next....
“Stockton Police Department launched an assault probe into (the Sikhs).”
It’s perfectly legal to steal up to $950/day in California (well, it’s a misdemeanor, but the cops won’t respond).
I’m sure those Sikhs were told to “not interfere with shoplifters, to let them go” - as criminals shoplift them out of business...
