We had Indians in our area...and the stories keep piling up. Most stories are repeats from an earlier historian. The bad part is...if the first story is wrong....they're all wrong.

Assuming that the claims are entirely true and that the gov’t had no legal right to it neither this guy,nor his heirs,have a prayer here. And if they’re not true perhaps they don’t have the right to make the claim.
This guy is inviting the newly reminted FBI/Gestapo to show up at his front door at 5am ready to knock it down and arrest him for challenging the government in court.
I see no difference between the FBI and the MOB..............
Even if it was true, the FBI or the IRS would have claimed the reasure, all of it, and they would get nothing............

hard to know which gold rush. my thoughts are that a lot of gold that is stolen historically gets salted back into mines to give an explanation where wealth has been acquired from. I think this has happened with missing World War 2 gold and happens a lot throughout history when an explanation is needed for sudden found wealth.
