Sounds like he did, thank God.

Perhaps it depends on age, physical condition, etc. I know the man we know was 66 years of age, somewhat overweight, but not morbidly obese, but he did have diabetes. Maybe too many strikes against him, but the intubation and Remdesivir definitely finished him off. He went quickly.

My neighbor was in top health, was about 63 years old.

When she called to tell me, he was in the hospital she was happy he was getting the same treatment as President Trump.

Trump also had Regeneron.

My son is 65 and has what the lung doctor said is Asbestosis (evidently he breathed some in at some time) and is using inhalers all the time. Now the lung doctor perscribed a neubulizer also an oyxgen concentrator. He is not over weight. In fact he was losing weight.

I think being diabetic might have played a big role in your friend not surviving. It seems to me diabetics are at a grater risk from other health issues then most people would be.
