On June 12, Ramaswamy filed an FOIA request demanding the U.S. government release all communication between the White House and DOJ in its classified documents indictment against Trump.
“My campaign just filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) demand to uncover *exactly* what the White House communicated to Merrick Garland & Jack Smith about the unprecedented indictment of a former U.S. President & Biden’s disfavored opponent in this election. Every American deserves to know,” Ramaswamy tweeted at the time.

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) was reportedly handcuffed at a Texas rodeo after trying to help a girl during a “medical emergency.”
While attending the White Deer Rodeo, Jackson, a former White House physician under former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, went to assist a 15-year-old girl who was undergoing a medical emergency. In the ensuing confusion, Jackson was briefly handcuffed and pushed to the ground before being released.
Linda Dianne Shouse, a home healthcare and traveling nurse, shed light on the situation in an interview with CNN, saying the situation became chaotic when law enforcement personnel arrived.
“He was trying to tell them that he was a doctor and probably trying to tell him who he was, to be honest. And they were screaming that they did not effing care who he was,” she said. “And the next thing I knew, they had him on the ground, grabbed him by the shirt, threw him on the ground, face first into the concrete, and had him in cuffs.”
She added that the police quickly uncuffed him after finding out who he was and were apologetic.

Ronny Jackson’s Response to Being Detained at Rodeo Raises Eyebrows
On Monday, Jackson’s office released a further statement sharing more information on the incident, saying that the doctor was “summoned by someone in the crowd to assist a 15-year-old girl who was having a medical emergency nearby.”
While no news report commented on Jackson’s condition during this incident, his office has specified that he was sitting “in the stands during the entire rodeo, in full view of the assembled crowd, and was not drinking.”
Jackson came under scrutiny when a report from the DOD inspector general accused him of drinking alcohol while in his role at the White House, as well as taking Ambien sleeping pills and making inappropriate comments about a colleague’s breast and buttocks while on a presidential trip to Manila, Philippines, in 2014. Jackson has strongly denied all the allegations of misconduct.
