I think that remark could have been meant to be a disguised comment on the political ruin in DC.

Look, it’s not my fault that my political opponent in the Democrat Party, Crooked Joe Biden, has told his Attorney General to charge the leading (by far!) Republican Nominee & former President of the United States, me, with as many crimes as can be concocted so that he is forced to spend large amounts of time & money to defend himself. President Trump arrived at the U.S. District Court to face a third set of criminal charges.
Accompanied by his lawyers, John Lauro and Todd Blanche, he sat at the defense table in a serious demeanor.
Unlike other defendants from the January 6 incident, Trump will not face detention as per an agreement between his lawyers and the government.
However, he is not allowed to discuss the case due to the terms of the agreement.
The next hearing, scheduled for August 28, will be overseen by Judge Tanya Chutkan, although Trump has the option to waive his appearance at the hearing.

Every American, including President Trump, is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The latest charges brought by the Biden DOJ-appointed special counsel introduce some novel legal arguments that carry a heavy burden to show criminal conduct actually occurred. Given the public’s declining confidence in the impartiality of the DOJ and concerns over the perception of a two-tiered justice system, Congress must conduct robust oversight of the investigation and the ultimate decision to prosecute President Trump.

The just-released transcript of the Devon Archer interview confirms our reporting from last year that the $3.5 million payment from a Russian billionnaire — cited dozens of times by Trump — was unrelated to Hunter Biden. Rosemont Seneca Thornton received a $3.5 wire from Baturina. Hunter was Chairman of Rosemont Seneca Partners, which was the BENEFICIARY of Rosemont Seneca Thornton.
To make it worse, Archer and Hunter transferred $2.7M to Rosemont Seneca Bohai, which Archer revealed they had 50-50 ownership in.
The idea that Hunter didn’t get the money when he was the head of these companies with Archer is absurd.
