Irish singer Sinéad O’Connor has passed away, according to the Irish Times. She was 56 years old.
O’Connor released 10 studio albums throughout her career, though she is most well-known for her single “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
...O’Connor published a memoir, titled Rememberings, in 2021, in which she discussed being pressured to have an abortion by label executive Nigel Grainge; Grainge allegedly was so invested in ensuring that O’Connor aborted, he went to her doctor and told him to “impress upon” her a warning not to continue with the pregnancy.
“Your record company has spent £100,000 recording your album. You owe it to them not to have this baby,” she said the doctor told her...

Discovering that she chose life over the death of her baby is heartening. She knew it was wrong to kill a baby in her womb and stood up to the wicked men telling her otherwise.
And her words to Miley Cyrus were spot on.
I hope she made peace with our Creator before she passed.
Moz got it right....
Morrissey Slams Sinead O’Connor Tributes: ‘You Praise Her Now Only Because It Is Too Late’
She was skinhead and a raghead and trashed the pope
May want to mention that too
I hope so too. Tortured soul no doubt.
In 2018 she converted to Islam, “the natural conclusion of any intelligent theologian’s journey.” She published fotos of herself sporting a huijab and changed her name to Shuhada’ Sadaqat while continuing to use her old name professionally. She was pretty mixed up. I wonder if the baby she declined to abort was the son who later committed suicide at age 17?
Good job she did stopping abortion in Ireland
NOT
That sounds pretty typical of the lies abortionists use to pressure women into "choosing" abortion. Unfortunately, too many women believe the lies since they come from a doctor whom they perceive as an educated authority figure.
Good for Sinead for standing up for herself and her baby. It takes a strong woman to reject the pressure to have an abortion.
Oh, and millions of pregnant women fly every year. The airlines don't want women past a certain stage flying because they don't want to risk having to deliver babies in flight.
She pretty much tried every religion at one time or the other.
All those tramp stamps were really a nice touch. So classy 🤪
Different child as best I can tell
I always thought she looked like a Holocaust victim
I guess it was to boost sales
She sure didn’t look like that in her latter years, she bulked up considerably.
May want to mention that too
She "trashed the pope" in a righteous gesture of protest about the Roman Catholic Church's longstanding cover-up of child sexual abuse, of which your "pope" was a central participant.
May want to mention that too.
I thought she did kill her second pregnancy around the late ‘80s ?
I read an article the other day that mentioned she did have an abortion somewhere along the way.
I saw it on the Wikipedia bio.
They look classy on your granddaughters too...:)
‘Sinead O’Connor’
who...?
O’Connor had four children and was married and divorced four times. She had her first son, Jake, in 1987 with her first husband, music producer John Reynolds,[118] who co-produced several of her albums, including Universal Mother. Reynolds and O’Connor later married in Westminster register office in March 1989.[119][120] The same year, O’Connor had an abortion after things did not work out with the father. She later wrote the song “My Special Child” about the experience.[121] O’Connor and Reynolds announced their plan to divorce in November 1991 after being separated for some time.[122]
‘She “trashed the pope” in a righteous gesture of protest about the Roman Catholic Church’s longstanding cover-up of child sexual abuse’
I guess it was simply an oversight on her part that she forgot to trash any Protestant clergy and teachers who were hanky-pankying with the kiddies as well...
