A transgender man from South Carolina is alleged to have been murdered by a man he left home to meet for a first date at an amusement park.
The body of Jacob Williamson, 18, from Laurens, was found on July 4 by the side of the road in Pageland, some seven miles from where police believe he was killed.
Williamson had been writing to a man from North Carolina a month-and-a-half when the pair agreed to meet in person on June 30 - but Williamson never came home after leaving for the park along the border to North Carolina and South Carolina.
Authorities from Union County, North Carolina, and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation have now arrested two suspects, Joshua Newton, 25, and his girlfriend Victoria Smith, 22, in connection to Williamson's death.
Newton has been charged with first-degree murder and obstruction of justice while Smith has been charged with obstruction of justice and accessory after the fact.
Williamson had arranged to meet Newton at a local Waffle House before heading to the Carowinds amusement park.
Newton is alleged to have driven more than 100 miles to pick up Williamson for their date but instead of heading to the amusement park, he brought Williamson back to his trailer park home in Monroe, North Carolina. where he allegedly killed the teen.
Newton did not give police a clear motive or manner of Williamson's murder.
A family friend, Promise Edwards, revealed to WHNS that Williamson had been living with her for a month-and-a-half after he left his family's home when some relatives were said to have difficultly accepting his transitioning.
He agreed to have his phone tracked while on the date but Edwards became concerned after the location was suddenly turned off.

I am not celebrating this death, but neither am I crying over it. When you are a sex worker or if you are somebody who hooks up over line with people that you don’t know, you got to kind of expect something like this is going to happen. It is like when somebody who free climbs up these cliffs falls off you kind of feel sorry that they’re dead but you also sort of feel like g they ask for it. They brought this on themselves.

You realize that roughly 80% of all young people (trans or not) now meet their dates online, right?
There are chat groups specifically for trans people to meet other trans people. That way they are able to connect with other folks who understand what they are going through.
Since this guy had a girlfriend already, any pretense of a “date” was a ruse. They targeted this kid for killing. That’s sick.
I don’t think we’ve been told the entire story yet. Just on the 100-mile drive situation....on my list ten stupid things that I just wouldn’t do...is drive a hundred miles for one single date.

A lot of people really cannot wrap their heads round the simple concept that all four of these things are separate.
Sex - your chromosomes and body parts.
Gender presentation - initially, this is how you are presented in society by your church, your family, and your family, based on your sex. And, how you’re conditioned, if you’re a boy, not to play with dolls or wear dresses.
Gender identity - We all hit an age where we want to develop our own image with our own clothes, hairstyle and taste in music. But we usually don’t challenge our gender. Clearly though, there are differences within a gender - sporty jock boys and nerdy preppies think differently.
Gender expression - how you deal. BA Baracus was baffled because Boy George had long hair and dressed kinda like a girl. Technically Boy George was never a transvestite nor a transsexual, he was a gay male cloakroom attendant at the Blitz Club in London who, like David Bowie, created his own androgynous fashion style.
Transgender - people who are either intensely revolted by the sex they were born with (dysmorphia) or are really unhappy with the presentation of it.
Sexual orientation - straight, gay, bi but don’t forget asexual (nearly everyone is asexual until late childhood but some people never have a sexual awakening).
Romantic attraction - one’s ability to have romantic relationships as well as platonic / familial ones.
Once you wrap your head round the idea that these things are different, it’s easier to understand.
A girl who might be asexual and unromantic might be sick to the back teeth of periods , boobs, dresses, judgey girl cliques, perving boys, etc; express herself by dressing as a boy and adopting a boy name purely to put that stuff off, and start looking for other teens like herself.
Because we’ve spent the better part of fifty years saying that this behavior is “queer” ie WRONG, the girl is pressured into identifying as gay ) doesn’t fit), lesbian (also doesn’t fit), or trans (closer but still ain’t right).
The idea that she’s maybe just an unhappy girl who’s had it up to here with the boob job / nose job / groping / period pains and simply wants off that train isn’t allowed by the LGBTQIA+ Mafia any more than it’s allowed by the traditionalists.
So she meets up with an “ally” online, goes to meet him, and gets murdered.
So what motivated the murderer? And what could society have done differently ?
This new “gendering” bullSchiff is really effking up the language.

Most people also can’t wrap their heads around the fact that certain endocrine disorders actually result in gender dysphoria.
There are lots of kids that think they are trans, but they’re not. Rapid onset gender dysphoria is social contagion; however, there are a number of rare genetic disorders that can seriously mess with the body’s hormones, altering sexual development and the brain’s response to them. I know, my child was diagnosed with one.
But that runs counter to the narrative that all trans people are freaks, evil, pedos, etc. and makes it perfectly okay to poke fun at an innocent kid being killed for no good reason.
I hope all the folks that think this is funny don’t come down with diabetes because...guess what? That’s an endocrine disorder, too.

Was it really a man who was pretending to be a woman? Seems many men get upset when duped by a man trying to pass as a woman.
The guy is only 25???
He looks rough enough to have been a Western Sizzlin’ manager, had a few mobile homes and trucks foreclosed on, several ex- wives and multiple kids he is paying child support on while rocking that 80’s hair.
By the time the disorder was confirmed, it was too late.
When she hit puberty, her body started to masculinize naturally. The adrenal receptors in her brain were recognizing free-floating adrenal androgens as testosterone and tried to program her body to develop as a boy. Masculine body and facial hair, deep voice, musculature, the works. It was like living in a twilight zone episode watching my pretty little girl morph into a weird looking boy.
We would have needed to start treatment when she was still very young.
Not all kids born with her condition will experience gender dysphoria. Of those that do, roughly 80% will cease being dysphoric by the time puberty ends (as late as 18 to 20, depending on when the hyperandrogenism stops). We burned up God’s ears praying it would stop.
She is one of the unlucky .001%. At 20, she chose to present as male. Most people presumed she was already.
She’s in college now for her Bachelor’s in microbiology, is a student teacher due to exceptional grades, is rocking the Dean’s List, and working part-time. She’s been in a long-term relationship with another trans person. Now that my health is failing (thanks to Fauci’s bioweapon), she’s been helping a lot around the house and cooking delicious food for me. All those Sundays baking and cooking with me after church paid off. It wasn’t just fun in the kitchen with Mom, she really learned to make some great meals. Her cookies and treats are heavenly; her roasted chicken and garlic mashed potatoes would impress even Gordon Ramsey.
She’s focused more on healthy stuff for me now. Over the last 8 months, my overall health has tanked. From a fit and successful working wife and mom to disabled, housebound, and lucky to be alive; it has been a tough haul on the family.
I feel bad now that I don’t have the strength to do that anymore. She comes to me with what sounds like amazing recipes, but when Sunday rolls around, I’m usually too ill to join her. We settle for long talks in the living room, instead.
It doesn’t matter to me what she looks like; that is just her shell. Her soul, who she is as a person, has not changed. God blessed me with a smart, loving, hardworking, and talented child. People on the internet will judge, but they will have to answer to God for any lies against my kid.
No, a girl pretending to be a man. This was a bad choice that she made in meeting a stranger without the parents present or even going with another friend. I see that she (I will not use “he”) left her parents behind since they wouldn’t accept her decision to begin mutilating herself to become a fake male (I cannot blame them for that — ironically, these quack Mengele-esque doctors who profit from this gender/genital mutilation of youngsters will often tell (blackmail) the parents if they don’t “support” the decision to mutilate, the child will kill themselves. In this case, another bad choice to play a fake adult male led to the final conclusion of this situation).
