I’m not going to beat up someone who just lost a child.
It was 11 years ago.

“...beat up someone who just lost a child...”

Well, it was over 11 years ago...
It was 11 years ago.
Have at the fool.
Why not? When they use the loss of their child to push for stupid things, they deserve to be "beaten up".
Her son died 11 years ago.
I’m sorry for her loss, but her request is stupid. The lake did not kill her son; an accident did. Accidents happen everyday. If she actually cared about doing something productive, do PSAs on social media about public safety.
My cousin died in 1978 from a skateboarding accident. Did our family scream to have them banned? Of course not.
Lost a child in 2012.
This is a new one. Not only did no Freeper read the article, the guy who wrote the headline for the article did not even read the article.
She wants to see the lake cleaned of debris just under the surface, which is apparently causing a ton of boating accidents, because people drive fast thinking it is a lake, and hit an underwater tree stump or sunken something or other, and have a deadly boating accident. Apparently the lake is filled with that stuff and nobody knows. Article says nothing about draining the lake, despite it being in the headline.
Freepers not reading articles is perfectly normal, I don’t do it myself most times before rendering a random opinion.
But I have never see the guy who wrote the article headline not have read the article before. This is like end-stage retardation of a society.
Just lost a child? It was in 2012 if I read correctly.
