Went to his museum down in Nashville a few years back. It was 90% about others that he played with over the decades. Classy move, I thought.

Willie Nelson is still alive despite having health problems, including emphysema and pneumonia. He has given up smoking pot but still uses edibles and hemp oils. In 2017, there was a hoax that claimed he had died, but it was false and he only had bronchitis1. So, he is still alive as of July 4th, 2023.

Thanks. Everything I could find in a quick search said there had been previous death hoaxes in recent years, but nothing about today specifically.
