@Nigel_Farage
Just to keep people up to date… I have just had the 9th bank rejection confirmed.
Maybe I need to go to law and fight this for the sake of so many people.
I don't want to live in communist China.
Time for my usual remark:
DIE, CORPORATE SCUM!!!
Maybe so, but I’m going with “woke corporate scum” for the time being, until I find out more.
There are now growing calls for a “Financial Bill of Rights”.
I think the gov’t will have to act although I accept they might be giving tacit approval.
This is going to happen to all of us who don’t tow the approved line one of these days soon. Punishment for you. RATs beat their chests for it every day. Just like it is in China.
Our regime loves this kind of thing China does.
Not much you can do if you get de-banked.
Scary isn’t it.
There is an option of an account with the Post Office. I think they offer very basic services but not much else.
It can happen here. It can happen to you.
I have no sympathy for him. He knew this was being done and said nothing when it was done to Tommy Robinson. Apparently he thought it was ok and wouldn’t happen to him.
The Five Eyes (FVEY) are the deep state - singular. National sovereignty is long gone to the multinational corporations and power elites.
He’s clean. This is just pure political harassment of the same kind we see here. He’s never been convicted of anything.
Not yet charged, is not conclusive.. The reality he is or was working for the Russian government, that has consequences.
Nigel Farage denies £548K links to Russian state
Nigel Farage has strongly denied allegations he was paid more than half a million pounds by the Russian state.
On Tuesday, Chris Bryant, Labour MP for Rhondda, told MPs that Nigel Farage received £548,573 in 2018 from Russian state broadcaster Russia Today and suggested the former Brexit Party leader should be sanctioned.
Farage swiftly took to Twitter to post a video firmly rejecting the claims.
“Chris Bryant, paranoid EU Remainer, has stood up in the House of Commons today and made the most outrageous statement.
“He says, that in 2018, I received over half a million pounds from Russia Today; Mr Bryant, in 2018, I did not receive a penny from Russia Today.
“In previous years, I’d done a couple of bits for them. I decided it wasn’t suitable for me.”
Farage went on to point out that Bryant has previously appeared on RT, which the Labour MP did as a guest in 2014. Bryant has firmly denied receiving any payment from RT.
Farage also appeared to threaten legal action if Bryant repeats his allegation outside the House of Commons, where the rules of parliamentary privilege allow MPs to make claims in parliament without the risk of being sued for libel.
“Say that outside of the House of Commons, I’d like you to, I could do with a new car – maybe even a new house, but of course you won’t do that. You’ve said this on the basis of no evidence,” Farage added.
The basis of the figure of £548,573 quoted by Mr Bryant is unclear, although a source close to Mr Farage told the Mirror that this was Mr Farage's firm's "total income" for 2018.
British politicians appearing on RT is not unusual in the UK, with senior figures appearing as paid guests including: Labour shadow foreign secretary, David Lammy; senior Tory MP, David Davis; former Liberal Democrat, leader Vince Cable; and former Scottish National Party leader, Alex Salmond.

You're just repeating Leftist Labour propaganda.
They didn’t pay him anything. There is no evidence Farage was paid anything by RT. He appeared as a guest a few times - as did his ReMoaner Labour MP accuser here, but there’s zero evidence Farage did ever work for RT....not that doing so would make him an agent of Russia anyway.
Innocent until proven guilty in every civilized country. The reality is he was not working for RT. Even if he was, that does not have "consequences". That is perfectly legal. The UK needs laws like the ones Florida and Texas have passed which prevent banks from de-banking businesses for non commercial reasons....and this needs to be extended to individuals. If the banks are found to be violating this, simply pull their charters.
Did you not read that he was offered a bank account, he was just denied the privilege daccount that he thought he was due.
Did you not read that 9 different banks denied him an account including the one he’d done business with for decades which shut down his accounts without offering any explanation?
Perhaps the UK gov’t has weighed in, and this is the result?
Yes, that was in this article, but as I wrote earlier in this thread, if you go out and look on the Internet, he has been offered accounts at other banks, even this particular bank that originally closed his privileged account offered him an normal citizens account. What he wants is his privilege account for the elite.
Supposedly one bank offered him an account after his bank closed his account and several others turned him down for an account - despite him being fully solvent and a good customer.
