Got home around 10PM last night. Got stuck at a TSA training security line. Stupidity at the highest level! They took so long to look at the screen of baggage the supervisor let me go through so I could sit on the other side until they passed my baggage. TSA refused, but we sheep allowed a few in front of line so they wouldn’t miss their flight. When I saw the guy that hD been in front of me, I walked over there. But they held up one bag of mine, put it back through THREE times, with 3 people just looking and looking at its contents. Finally told me I had to go to the side so they could empty it out. I asked why they didn’t just do that before, he said it looked like I had metal coins in my purse but couldn’t tell. Stupid! So he finds my little coin purse, empties the coins into a plate, looks into them, then says OK. Stupid, stupid!
Then my flight in Dallas was delayed twice, gate changed, then we board a HOT plane they said had been in the hanger all day. The air vents were not working. We sat there an hour waiting for the new crew to get there. The attendant was Ukrainian, she said her immediate family had already been here for a few years, but she fears for her family in Ukraine. When the other crew were almost there she announced it, and said the incoming crew were not as good looking, ha!
I did meet a fellow cat woman AND she raises horses! She lives in Indiana near Kentucky border. Showed me pictures of the foals.
I get home and Proby wouldn’t leavalone, alone, poor guy, I get to bed, still talking to and petting him, then I started dozing off and HE ATTACKED me! My leg all bleeding and I had to clean it, shut him out of the room. So he’s scratching at the door and crying so I let him in. I finally went to sleep fearful he would attack again. Put my sunglasses on to protect my eyes.
I really wanted to sleep endlessly but he woke me up early. He seems to be ok now so I could finally post here.
What a nightmare flying is these days.

My cats used to ignore me for several days when I got back from vacation. I think I would rather have that!
Your Airport story sounds pretty awful, but one good thing I noticed that you didn’t talk about neck pain! I hope it is very minimal.

It was after I refused to feed him for the 47th time
that day. As I walked away, he came after me
and attacked my calf.
Punishment was swift, sure. and severe.
I clipped him upside the head and spun him around.
I felt bad, but I don’t want to live in fear of him.
That was a year ago, and he has not done it since.
