That is scary. I am going to ask my daughter to contact her friends in Panama. They escaped Canada a couple of years ago. If she can find anything out I will post it. They live in a small village in Panama, but I don’t know the name of it.

The traditional gift for a 40th anniversary is the ruby. That can mean jewelry with ruby gemstones, decor (such as candles or picture frames) in red tones, or clothing items in a rich ruby color (such as a scarf or hat).
That’s a perfectly reasonable response. I’ve always said that the problem with some of these theories and speculation is that nobody knows for sure that it’s true. Unless we KNOW FOR A FACT that something is true, we shouldn’t be posting it and telling people it IS true. Just because someone is convinced something is true, does not mean it is. Then, because people are so emotionally invested in something being the truth, they get their knickers in a twist if they are questioned. It’s just not good for a free and open forum.
So, saying up front that this is speculation, or that you don’t know how true it is, is a perfect solution. Kudos to you.
