JUST IN: Rep. Jim Jordan accuses the FBI of operating like Communist China by communicating with Big Tech companies to censor Americans.
What a humiliating day for Christopher Wray.
Wray: “Any company of any size in China is required by Chinese law to have what they call a committee, which is a cell inside the company whose sole function is to ensure that company’s compliance with Chinese Communist Party orthodoxy. If we tried to install something like that in American companies people would go out of their minds and rightly so.”
Jordan: “But that’s exactly what you did, and the judge said it last week. Every week you were meeting with big tech companies saying, ‘Hey, look at this. This violates your policy. Take this speech of Americans down.’ You were doing the same darn thing.”

If Trump had done this, D.C. wouldn’t be worried about Donald Trump running in 2024, because he’d be two years into his second term after winning 400 electoral votes in 2020.

Maybe I’m missing something but this congressional grilling of Christopher Wray is virtually useless, and not just because he’s an expert stonewaller. There is no strategy or coordinated follow up by Republicans, and not enough time in a single question to pin him down.

It is not cooling down that much at night, unfortunately.
The Flying V fire was only 30 miles out of Show Low and they have it at 73% contained now, closed down 60 for several days.
There have been a few small fires closer but they whomped on them immediately and got them out.
We need rain!
