But when I got to #11, I thought why of course I always keep a couple of cucumber slices in my purse for just such an occasion.

11. Just finish a business lunch and realize you don't have gum or mints? Take a slice of cucumber and press it to the roof of your mouth with your tongue for 30 seconds to eliminate bad breath, the phytochemicals will kill the bacteria in your mouth responsible for causing bad breath.

Outside cat came running through the house. Wanted no part of settling down. Let him out and an hour later...begging to come inside to a couch and air. Watching for our yard helper to arrive and cut our forest. I weeded some yesterday but it was just too hot to stay out long.

My Spirea is looking horrible. It was trying to get leaves after loosing them early spring. Now with all of our rain its looking really seriously in shock. The bush is so hard to trim without getting major thorn cuts. I'm shaking my head wondering how to save the plant. It was so beautiful last year. Any suggestions?

I am unable to get mints after a meal. It really upsets my stomach. Mint is very hard on the stomach and its pushed everywhere. I will use some of your suggestions. Is there a cucumber based salad dressing one could use? I myself can't eat any salads out because I'm highly allergic to the preservatives they put on the lettuce. Life threatening for me. But maybe you could look into a dressing or take a small container in your purse as I use to do when I could eat salads.
