There is a way to rid yourself of the email “subscriptions.”
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
ok, I’ll bite. what is the way?
btw: what is the browser that people are using for more privacy as compared to firefox?
brave?? something like that?
also offers secured search?
I use Brave.
It is tied to search DuckDuckGo.
DDG has ads so it is tied to an algorithm that is scraped for ChatGPT.
There is no such thing as “private” browser or search.
Google tracking is embedded in your registry and hidden.
You can’t avoid it.
If you use anything Microsoft products, you can’t remove it from your registry without voiding your MS warranty and disabling your OpsSys (yes...even 3.11).
Summary?
We’re screwed unless we get off the grid.
I use Mojeek...no ads.
But, still run by an algorithm...it is scraped, too.
YMBI:
I started using Qwant.com with Brave.com as back-up. Qwant is good so far but it originates from the Netherlands so concern is that it would be compromised by the EU/WEF Nazi Bureau of Information and give them a backdoor in the future. Can’t be too paranoid in todays ‘net world. LOL
In your email, look for “subscriptions” and go through the ones you want to delete.
