I estimate that 90% of them are either pedophiles themselves, would-be pedophiles if the opportunity arose, or pedophile protectors. The idea that a homosexual pedophile is somehow not a gay man is ludicrous.

This was the only comprehensive research I could find, and it's 18-years old. This is stunning: such a huge problem and it's getting no academic research. This is probably due to an unspoken blackballing that'd happen to academics who shine light on this grotesque underbelly of education.

The recent groomer sensation has (finally) riled up people, and the trans and same-sex dimension has been the magnet. Fair enough. Same-sex educator-student abuse, at about 30% of instances, is higher vs this group's composition in society. That doesn’t diminish that opposite sex educator-student abuse stands at 70%+ of all misconduct, remaining in the majority.
So, while people go on and on about same-sex agitators, they laugh when a female teacher molests a 15-year old boy and say “I’d hit it, too.”
