Transgender individuals had significantly higher rates of suicide attempts and suicide mortality compared with non-transgender individuals, according to a population-based retrospective cohort study from Denmark.
Among over 6.6 million individuals, standardized suicide attempt rates per 100,000 person-years were 498 for those who were transgender compared with 71 per 100,000 person-years for those who were not transgender (adjusted incidence rate ratio [aIRR] 7.7, 95% CI 5.9-10.2), reported Annette Erlangsen, PhD, of the Danish Research Institute for Suicide Prevention at the Mental Health Centre Copenhagen, and co-authors. Standardized suicide mortality rates per 100,000 person-years were 75 versus 21, respectively (aIRR 3.5, 95% CI 2.0-6.3), they noted in JAMAopens in a new tab or window.
Transgender individuals also had higher rates of mortality not related to suicide (aIRR 1.9, 95% CI 1.6-2.2) and higher rates of all-cause mortality (aIRR 2.0, 95% CI 1.7-2.4) compared with non-transgender individuals.
Notably, rates of suicide attempts and mortality decreased over the study period (1980-2021), but rates of suicide attempts (aIRR 6.6, 95% CI 4.5-9.5) and suicide mortality (aIRR 2.8, 95% CI 1.3-5.9) remained significantly high between 2000 and 2021.
Erlangsen said that this is the first study to investigate rates of suicide attempts and mortality among transgender individuals on a national level in any country. "It's unfortunately not surprising that there is a higher frequency of suicide behavior among transgender individuals," she told MedPage Today. There is no such thing as a transgender as one cannot change their sex no matter what surgeries or medications they may take.

Additionally any author, publication, individual, school, business, or any other group who uses the term “transgender” is also a mentally ill sex pervert, a low IQ or both for believing this falsehood.

I saw a study in the USA that for “trannies” who had surgery, the suicide rate was something like 20X the normal population
This is truly tragic. So many youth are trying to imagine they are like Disney’s sanitized The Little Mermaid, only to discover too late that Hans Christian Andersen’s version reflected reality.
In more than twenty states it is AGAINST THE LAW to provide mental health therapy to help people with their gender dysphoria. And the main medical organizations say that the ONLY way to treat gender dysphoria is medically (hormones and surgeries).
Here in the state of Washington they just passed a law that if a child (14 to 17) wants to transition and they are afraid that their parents won’t agree with them, they can run away to a shelter and the state will take care of their procedures without telling the parents where the kids are or what they are doing.
Many of these trans-cult kids take on their “new” names of celebrities that they like. I read one story where some really little boy (7?) said he was a girl and was encouraged by his parents. He wanted his new name to be one of the My Little Pony character’s names (Princess Sparkles or something). His mom suggested Sally or something instead.
If you have a “dead pool” pick a tranny. You’re going to get PAID.
