PACE adopted resolution in which it fully supports Ukrainian peace formula
19:32 22.06.2023

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe [PACE] adopted the resolution “Political Consequences of Russian Aggression Against Ukraine”, in which it fully supported the Ukrainian peace formula.
The head of the permanent delegation of the Verkhovna Rada to PACE, Maria Mezentseva (Servant of the People faction), reported this on her Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
The resolution provides for:
1. Continuation and strengthening of additional civil and military aid, including through re-export of the EU’s own goods.
2. Creation of strategic European economic autonomy from Russian oil and gas, as the main tool of blackmailing Europe.
3. Measures to prevent the resale of Russian minerals to Europe through third countries.
4. expansion of the list of individuals and legal entities subject to sanctions in the Russian Federation, Belarus, and third countries.
5. Introduction of main categories for the purpose of carrying out special supervision to avoid sanctions evasion
6. the process of creating a harmonized mechanism for monitoring compliance with sanctions and tracking their evasion, including through the resale of goods with the help of third countries
7. Creation of a public Register of companies and persons working for the benefit of Russian interests, including helping to evade sanctions
8. Recognition of PMC “Wagner” and other paramilitary formations that take part in the invasion of the Russian Federation by terrorist groups.
9. Recognition of the regime of the Russian Federation as following the dangerous ideology of racism. Racism consists of hundreds of examples of war crimes and directly promotes the crime of genocide.
10. Initiation of the field of science of Russian colonial policy, with the aim of studying the past policies and practices of the Russian Federation aimed at the implementation of imperialist policy.
11. Recognition of the Russian Federation as guilty of the war crime of ecocide, which is a consequence of the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP.
12. Creation of strategic economic autonomy from Russian gas and oil, which are used by the Russian Federation to expand imperialist geopolitical goals.
“He separately recognizes Russia’s intention to blow up the ZNPP, creating a threat to the entire continent,” Mezentseva adds.
Oh no! They’re doomed.

Blowing up of Chongar Bridge has complicated logistics for Russian occupants. Kalanchak and Chaplynka are not suitable for large traffic flows, - Chubarov

https://m.censor.net/en/news/3426373/blowing_up_of_chongar_bridge_has_complicated_logistics_for_russian_occupants_kalanchak_and_chaplynka
This morning’s strike on Chongar bridge has greatly complicated logistics for Russian invaders.
This was stated in a comment to Ukrinform by the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, informs Censor.NЕТ.
“At the level of propagandists, politicians who do not make decisions - I mean collaborators - the occupiers are starting to throw around pseudo-demands, saying that they should strike at the decision-making centers in Ukraine. But they seem to have forgotten that the strikes on Crimea have been carried out since August 9 last year. It started with the military airfield in Novofedorivka, followed by the destruction of ammunition depots near Dzhankoy, and drone attacks on the Black Sea Fleet headquarters in Chornomorsk.
The strike on the Chongar Bridge is one of those strikes that sends a powerful signal that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are targeting other, perhaps more important, objects in the temporarily occupied Crimea. I mean the bridge across the Kerch Strait,” Chubarov said.
He noted that the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people monitors the situation in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
“Now we see that there is great confusion there. I think that where there is confusion, there is despair. Logistics has become very complicated for the occupiers.
The Chongar Bridge was the main transportation artery connecting the temporarily occupied Crimea with Russia through the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, including Mariupol and Melitopol. And now this artery is blocked, at least for the exit from Crimea to Kherson,” Chubarov noted.
According to him, the invaders began to send transport convoys towards Krasnoperekopsk, Armyansk, through Kalanchak and Chaplynka. However, these roads are not adapted for large traffic flows.
“And the road across the Chongar Bridge played an important role for the occupiers’ supply of ammunition. They were delivered in this way from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions to Crimea.
After the Kerch Strait bridge was blown up, the occupiers are afraid to overload it. This bridge is damaged and there is a threat that it may not hold,” added the Chairman of the Mejlis.
Chubarov noted that Ukraine apparently has every opportunity to destroy the invaders’ communications in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
As reported, the Chongar Bridge, which connects the temporarily occupied Crimea with mainland Ukraine, was struck, and the bridge traffic is blocked.
The most amazing thing about all this is that “General” Ben Hodges was commander of the US Army in Europe.
Looks like NATO equipment and NATO training were not the only elements of NATO that is hugely over-rated.

The invasion of Ukraine, which Russia launched with big dreams, is on the verge of turning into a major disaster for Russia. The Ukrainian army, which is giving Russian troops a hard time at many points on the front line, continues its counter-attack without slowing down.
There are very hot clashes on the front line. When we look at the latest reports, we can say that the Ukrainian army has a tactical advantage in most of the front line. So what are the latest developments? Let’s examine them together on the map.
First, let’s make our daily Bakhmut assessment. Ukrainian offensives in the north of Bakhmut remain active. There are local reports that the Ukrainian army has managed to repel the Russian army in several areas.
If you look north of Bakhmut, we see that several elements of the Ukrainian army are trying to encircle Bakhmut from different points. One of these points was Berkhivka, which has been on our agenda for days. We also see that the Ukrainian army has launched an offensive from two different points.
One of these points is Yahidne. Yahidne is located about 12 kilometers from Bakhmut city center. As you can see, there is a highway east of the city and this highway goes all the way to Bakhmut.
The Russian army has the ability to maneuver quickly along this highway in the northern part of the front line. Therefore, it is vital for the Ukrainian army to prevent this. Thus, it is aimed to limit the speed of movement of the Russian army.
About 10 kilometers northwest of Yahidne is Orikhovo-Vasylivka. In recent days, there have been very hot clashes between Ukrainian and Russian forces here. These clashes were bloody for both sides and the Ukrainian army emerged victorious.
The blue area just above Orikhovo-Vasylivka has been liberated as a result of the Ukrainian offensive. The Russian trenches in the area were cleared and the Russian soldiers were replaced by Ukrainian troops. Krasna Hora is the next target of the Ukrainian army, which continues its efforts to ensure a stable control in the region.
Ukrainian troops are planning to advance from here to important points such as Krasna Hora and Soledar. The dominance to be achieved here is of great importance for the successful completion of the Ukrainian army’s counterattack.
There are many positions of the Russian army at these points. In addition, towns like Krasna Hora and Soledar are psychological barriers. If the Russian army loses its dominance here, it will not only lose territory. It will also suffer a major psychological defeat.

The offensive of the Defence Forces of Ukraine in the south of Ukraine is ongoing. There are partial successes; at the moment, the Ukrainian troops are pushing the Russian occupiers back and levelling the contact line.
SOURCE: Hanna Maliar, Deputy Minister of Defense, on Telegram
QUOTE: “The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive actions on the Melitopol and Berdiansk fronts”.
DETAILS: Maliar reported that the Ukrainian troops have advanced in some areas and are strengthening their positions.
The Russians, in turn, are deploying and using their reserves, trying to regain control over lost positions but still suffering great losses.
Meanwhile, in the east of Ukraine, the Defence Forces were conducting both defensive and offensive actions. “Our Defence Forces continue to effectively deter the offensive of the Russian forces on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka fronts,” Maliar stated.
She stressed that the Russians had not advanced a single metre.
At the moment, heavy fighting is ongoing on all fronts, while the fiercest battles are on the Lyman front near the settlements of Dibrova, Serebrianka Forestry and Hryhorivka in Donetsk Oblast.
The Defence Forces of Ukraine were conducting offensive actions on the Bilohorivka-Dibrova front, had partial success, and are now strengthening their positions.
The Russians are losing manpower and military equipment every day but continue to attack, trying to fulfil orders of the Kremlin concerning the full occupation of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts,” Maliar stated.
“General Ben Hodges was commander of the US Army in Europe.”

Media reports new vacancies in Wagner Group: they plan to monitor Russian military

Wagner private military company (PMC) recruits former Russian law enforcement officers with operational experience to be part of the “military police” in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
SOURCE: Russian news outlet Vyorstka
DETAILS: It is noted that the announcement that mercenaries recruit security officials from the Special Rapid Response Unit (SOBR), Special Purposes Mobile Unit (OMON), GROM [special forces of the Russian drug enforcement administration special - ed.] and other units appeared on 22 June on the organization’s page on Vkontakte, a Russian social network banned in Ukraine. According to the announcement, the work is focused on “detention, operational and curfew functions.”
Vyorstka contacted the recruiter indicated in the post by phone, who said that the mercenaries had such vacancies for the first time. “We recruit a commandant regiment from the operatives; we will call it the military police,” said the recruiter, who named himself Denis.
“You will have to make sure that everyone follows the rules of the company. To see that there are no thieves and looters, no fights, drunkenness, etc. Also [the responsibilities] include the operational task of identifying sabotage and reconnaissance groups and, of course, working with those groups: interrogations, operational investigation... [all] the operational work that is there,” said Denis.
It is noted that the new unit will allegedly have to ensure that the rules of the PMC are not violated by “volunteer detachments” and soldiers of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. “You work boldly; there will be absolutely no questions; are you kidding? To catch a soldier of the Ministry of Defence is not a sinful deed. These animals are bred there; they drink like pigs. We have full authority,” said Denis.
According to him, the salary per employee will be RUB ₽240,000 [approx. USD $2,961 - ed.] a month, and he also added that “very good” bonuses will be included. It is impossible to choose which occupied territories the recruits will be working in. “You are not in a pioneer camp, where they send you – you work there,” said Denis.
“Vacancies are currently open. How relevant they will be in a month – I can’t tell you,” the recruiter added.

While the Tuvinians are giving their lives for the war ambition of the Kremlin, Russia is only taking out resources from the republic. In Tyva, with the beginning of mobilization, people began to be taken to war en masse – at home, on the streets, and at work. Although the anti-war resistance in the republic has somewhat slowed down the processes, the Tuvinian people understand that Putin is now fighting with the hands of the indigenous peoples of the federation. Together with Buryatia, Tuva is in the top two republics regarding the number of the killed. But Moscow doesn’t let Tuvinian lands out of its clutches. Some republic residents declare they want independence and believe in their bright future outside Russia.

And "Hodges retired to Florida and began work for the think tank Center for European Policy Analysis, becoming the latter's Pershing Chair in Strategic Studies. At CEPA, Hodges has advocated for a stronger NATO. On defense expenditures, Hodges has said, “We need a more sophisticated approach to the spending guideline. The 2-percent number gets tossed around like dues in a club, which is unhelpful... I think the Alliance should take a hard look at the 2-percent calculus to redefine it.”
And "He endorsed Joe Biden in the 2020 U.S. presidential election in an op-ed with Ambassador Robert A. Mandell and Lieutenant General Donald M. Campbell Jr."
