This morning’s strike on Chongar bridge has greatly complicated logistics for Russian invaders.

This was stated in a comment to Ukrinform by the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, informs Censor.NЕТ.

“At the level of propagandists, politicians who do not make decisions - I mean collaborators - the occupiers are starting to throw around pseudo-demands, saying that they should strike at the decision-making centers in Ukraine. But they seem to have forgotten that the strikes on Crimea have been carried out since August 9 last year. It started with the military airfield in Novofedorivka, followed by the destruction of ammunition depots near Dzhankoy, and drone attacks on the Black Sea Fleet headquarters in Chornomorsk.

The strike on the Chongar Bridge is one of those strikes that sends a powerful signal that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are targeting other, perhaps more important, objects in the temporarily occupied Crimea. I mean the bridge across the Kerch Strait,” Chubarov said.

He noted that the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people monitors the situation in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
“Now we see that there is great confusion there. I think that where there is confusion, there is despair. Logistics has become very complicated for the occupiers.

The Chongar Bridge was the main transportation artery connecting the temporarily occupied Crimea with Russia through the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, including Mariupol and Melitopol. And now this artery is blocked, at least for the exit from Crimea to Kherson,” Chubarov noted.

According to him, the invaders began to send transport convoys towards Krasnoperekopsk, Armyansk, through Kalanchak and Chaplynka. However, these roads are not adapted for large traffic flows.

“And the road across the Chongar Bridge played an important role for the occupiers’ supply of ammunition. They were delivered in this way from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions to Crimea.

After the Kerch Strait bridge was blown up, the occupiers are afraid to overload it. This bridge is damaged and there is a threat that it may not hold,” added the Chairman of the Mejlis.

Chubarov noted that Ukraine apparently has every opportunity to destroy the invaders’ communications in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

As reported, the Chongar Bridge, which connects the temporarily occupied Crimea with mainland Ukraine, was struck, and the bridge traffic is blocked.
