The most amazing thing about all this is that “General” Ben Hodges was commander of the US Army in Europe.
Looks like NATO equipment and NATO training were not the only elements of NATO that is hugely over-rated.
“General Ben Hodges was commander of the US Army in Europe.”
CORRECTION:
Is a highly rated resource for accurate Russian invasion combat assessments.
But your statement was correct to begin with.
"Frederick Benjamin "Ben" Hodges III[1] (born 16 April 1958) is a retired United States Army officer who served as commanding general, United States Army Europe."
And "Hodges retired to Florida and began work for the think tank Center for European Policy Analysis, becoming the latter's Pershing Chair in Strategic Studies. At CEPA, Hodges has advocated for a stronger NATO. On defense expenditures, Hodges has said, “We need a more sophisticated approach to the spending guideline. The 2-percent number gets tossed around like dues in a club, which is unhelpful... I think the Alliance should take a hard look at the 2-percent calculus to redefine it.”
And "He endorsed Joe Biden in the 2020 U.S. presidential election in an op-ed with Ambassador Robert A. Mandell and Lieutenant General Donald M. Campbell Jr."

As to his part of post-retirement employment -- "Center for European Policy Analysis "(CEPA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, public policy institution based in Washington DC...."

Next time you get it right and still get correction, just know you got it right to begin with. Florida and DC. Biden and Hodges.....
