Is that why he married her?Watch out what you wish for!
“Is that why he married her?”
Ida don’t know.
More interesting info...
Sounds like there was a very personal mission taking place...a quest for answers that will only lead to more questions.
Stockton Rush is the founder and chief executive of OceanGate Expeditions
He was piloting the vehicle. Mr. Rush is a descendant of two signers of the Declaration of Independence, Benjamin Rush and Richard Stockton.
Exactly. 17 bolts. Visiting the Titanic. Chincy engineering. Now, not only a descendant of a Titanic death, but one of the three opposing the creation of the FED.
This is a False Flag. And, it’s a doozy.
Looking very much forward to the next interesting tidbit to unfold.
Does any of the wealth still exist? This has absolutely nothing to do with what is going on right now. Just side show crap for the public consumption.
So what?
If you were Captain Blue Blood you would know.
Yep. They almost had me with their narrative.
I would say that that family should stay away from the ocean...
They’ll blame an American nuclear sub for the collision which disabled the sub.
Macy’s was closed the Monday after the Titanic went down. The Strausses were stoical unlike J. Bruce Ismay, chairman of the White Star Line, who boarded a lifeboat, but soon after the disaster, resigned and retired to a farm in Ireland. My grandmother’s great aunt and uncle were second class passengers. She, like Ida, refused to get on a lifeboat without her husband.
Bet their diversity, equity, and inclusion score was through the roof.
On the night of the sinking, Isidor and Ida were seen standing near Lifeboat No. 8 in the company of Ida’s maid, Ellen Bird. Although the officer in charge was willing to allow Isidor to board the lifeboat with the women, Isidor Straus refused to do so while women and children still remained on the ship. He urged his Ida to board, but she refused, saying, “We have lived together for many years. Where you go, I go.” This incident was witnessed by numerous witnesses both in the lifeboat and on deck. The Strauses were last seen standing arm in arm on the deck.
The story of Ida’s bravery and loyalty became much celebrated. Rabbis spoke to their congregations about her sacrifice; articles in Yiddish- and German-language newspapers extolled her courage; a popular song featuring the story, “The Titanic’s Disaster”, became popular among Jewish Americans.
This whole thing is just bizarre.
Agree. Thought it was a little bit odd that OceanGate hadn’t issued a statement, until learning that CEO Stockton’s wife Wendy Rush is OceanGate’s Communications Director.
Thanks nickcarraway.
