I don’t know but trans Atlantic cables go back to 1850’s and there are hundreds of them world wide now. Should of been a feature of this submersible tomb.

The Titan weighs 20k lbs. That would require 1/2 inch steel cable. Could probable get away with thinner rope considering the craft’s buoyancy in water. At 0.42 lbs per foot, 14k ft of the cable would weigh 5880 lbs. Could attach small floats along its length to make it neutrally buoyant. Might have issues with a 14k long cable being affected by currents, might make the craft unmaneuverable.

cable laying ships to carry it.
