By FAR the best take on the fatal Titan sub fiasco.
[Yes, fatal.]
Skip the rest, this is the best, by an actual subject matter expert.

Yes, I viewed that video this morning. Very enlightening. I did not know this ‘company’ was a jury-rig operation...............................
Bump for later
That video was informative.
I think I have a handle on what has happened.
The CEO of the outfit that produced the sub said he did not want 50 year old white guys on his team.
Another object lesson has been created.
Hire only the best for critical tech positions, pay zero
attention to anything but ability... NOTHING BUT ABILITY MATTERS WHERE SAFETY IS CONCERNED.
“I do not want 50 year old white guys”
Should have focused more on what he did want...people who could build a sub.
Thanks for that video!
Thank you for this
That is a good - posted on Fakebook.
He actually knows something, as opposed to the legions of morons who don’t know $**t.
Good overview from an expert. Thank you for sharing.
Good Video-—Thanks.

I worked on the Navy’s DSRV-Mystic made by
Lockheed-Martin and were all Submariners and Took Every aspect seriously !
The Titan seems a Joke.
Remember this EEO statement when us old white men were growing up:
We're an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.”
Today that statement is no longer enforced. In fact, the opposite is true. The CEO of this company purposely excluded candidates based on their age and race. Hope he's enjoying his newfound woke ness.
At least he just laid it all out what a screwup this POS vessel was and was honest about the reality of the situation
A lot of fuss about the hatch. A hatch couldn’t be opened at that depth, ever. You would have to flood the sub to open one. That alone would kill the people.
Just finished watching this impressive video and yep, they're dead.
