From advancing same-sex marriage to blocking “bathroom bills” to opposing attempts to legalize discrimination, corporate America has been among the most consistent and vocal supporters of LGBTQ equality over the last several years.
But now, as an unprecedented wave of legislation targeting transgender people blankets much of the country, many of the same companies that engaged vigorously in earlier battles are taking a quieter and more restrained approach.
Ask a transgender advocate which corporations or business executives are prominently standing against the legislative barrage, and the most frequent response is: No one.
That’s a difference that’s been noted by many outside the corporate community who have seen it mobilize and lead in previous fights to roll back LGBTQ rights.

“legislation targeting transgender people”
Boys shall be boys and girls shall be girls.
That is all.
And don’t forget - God never handed the Rainbow to Satan .... only the warnings about the fires of Hell!
Pride before the Fall.
Not sure why it’s so hard to leave politics and this insanity out of the work place.
I remember when sports was sports and I watched MLB, NBA and the NFL and all I saw was some great competition. I remember walking into stores and bought stuff I needed and the only signs were things on sale. I was in the military and it was a brotherhood, I went to work and didn’t deal with all the BS, we worked hard and played harder, there were male/ female bathrooms and there weren’t any HR departments, then Tailhook happened, sensitivity training, HR complaints and having fun became outlawed and shxt went downhill fast.
Thankfully I’m retired.
Here is yet another article which equates pushback on TQ with an attack on the LGB community. Maybe the TQ’s went too far?
Most of the problems we see in America today are the results of programs, regulations, and $$$ coming from Washington. As Washington has moved further and further leftward, they use the carrot and stick to force America to follow their path. The executive suite at the large institutional investors who control huge blocks of these corporations’ stock are on board with what Washington wants as well (the threat of SEC action is the stick).
I posted this yesterday in a similar FR thread.
The company I’ve worked for more than 3 decades, Prudential, has gone far, far left the past 10 years. They used to post a schedule of events for Fag month, including drag shows, “conversations” and all other sorts of BS.
This month? Nothing. Not a single email or article or anything for Fag month- complete nothing.
I went to a large mall over the weekend. There were very few homo pride signs anywhere. The dozen stores that did have it we walked right on by. It’s way more toned down than in previous years where it was aggressively in your face.
People are getting sick of it Even some Democrats.
Dear fruit cups. Go home and dance around in your little fag costumes all you want. Keep it at home. Please close the blinds Stay away from our children. That last one was not a suggestion…..stay away from our kids for your own health and safety.
With the way the business elites handled Covid, I would argue that they have no problems whatsoever with child rape. This is a tactical retreat.
> This is a tactical retreat.
Bingo. The long march through institutions will continue.
Gelding a group for population control, adding lab created viruses, food shortages resulting in famines, and of course, that old solution, WAR with lost lives seems to be the only ideas the handful of world controllers can come up with.
Overturning a civilization for a handful of confused people is not going to happen.
“...legislation targeting transgender people...”
That is a LIE! A total filthy LIE!
The legislation does not target “transgender people”, it protects children from adult pedophiles. After a child is 18 years old, they can transition to their hearts content. Before that, they need to be protected from homosexual child predators.
“having fun became outlawed”
That’s huge for me. I can remember when going to work was something I looked forward to. Everyone was happy and productive when we worked incredibly hard, and it was mixed with social interaction.
Then it seemed like almost overnight everything flipped. No joking around, no after-work get-togethers, certainly no flirting. The thought of going to work was dreadful. We didn’t work as hard, and counted down the hours left in every day.
We had political differences, but no animosity. Discussions and jokes were the thing.
HR went from being effective and professional to being airy-fairy flakes and thought police.
I’m glad for the good years, pre-PC to an insane level.
That’s so encouraging! Thanks for posting.
We noticed no Pride evidence at Walmart this week. Not sure if that’s due to a corporate decision, or by the local store (east TN).
The guy behind us in line wore a tee with Trump, and “I’ll be BACK!”. He said about ten people had complimented him, and “nobody cussed me out”.
Maybe the tide is turning.
My memory will be long. My wallet is closed to the freak show and it’s supporters.
I think it would be good to remember that people haven’t changed - culture and fads and trends change. Prevailing culture before the late 60s said that homosexuality, sex outside of marriage, etc... was not the ideal, was not good and normal. But God’s word describes humanity as having a sinful nature. We will always descend into depravity barring a devotion to and fear of God. We see this throughout history going back to Sodom and Gomorrah and back to Adam and Eve.
It is rare to find any corporate or government leader with a principled conviction about anything other than the bottom line or holding on to power. They lick their finger and stick it into the wind to catch the latest “truth” and call up the marketing department to do the requisite virtue signaling.
