JOS is not preferred by many here and while I used to watch his vids and I don’t particularly care for him, mainly because I simply no longer have time to watch many lengthy one plus hour long videos, I certainly think he makes valid points here and there. We are informed thinkers on this site and are independantly able to determine truth and falsehoods also perferred and not so preferred sources. There are much worse commentators, such as Ward and Parkes and a dozen more I could suggest.
With that said, gateway pundit is horrible, yet there is no banishment to the festival basement for GP. why is that? I suspect it is due to favortism toward the poster, rather than the controverial nature of the source.
Probably better to post and allow the forum participants to determine the value of the contribution, lest we end up with censorship in the forum...like the lying media does every day and lest we become like them. FR has been a site for freedom of thoughts, the open sharing of ideas and perspsectives. We should be careful to keep the dialog and interaction open for the free exchange of ideas. The contributors to the forum have and do correct information all the time and this is healthy to free dialog.
If readers don’t perfer the source of the information posted, simply move along to the next post. We each do it every day, whether it is a cat gif, a “slide”, or you name it. We’ve had dozens of posts, going page after page, sliding on house remodeling, job searches, gardening, medical articles, you name it. They never get banished.
Normally, only leftists want to shut down people’s freedom of expression and this banisment to the festival basement is bordering on this very evil.

Wonderful comment. As one who also mostly reads, I appreciate all Ransomnote does to keep “Q” threads going. I have read these threads since the beginning, but many newer posters/lurkers have not and I think Ransomnote is trying to keep the threads with the most trustworthy source being posted.
It has been suggested several times that not everyone believes Q or think Q failed could easily start their own thread using sources that they do trust. One has to wonder why instead of doing that they want to argue or disrupt here.
We are here because Ransomnote has worked tirelessly for five years to keep us here. We reap the benefits of her diligence, patience, and devotion every single day. This thread has literally kept many of us alive...or somewhat sane through many hardships.
We abide by The Boss’s rules on FR, even when we disagree with his taboo subjects (ex. Q, 9/||). Ransom is trusted and entitled, by The Boss, to manage and moderate this thread. She has just as much right, after all she’s given, to ask us not to bring certain subjects or to bring them to Festival. I have also had to cease and desist a couple of times and had to swallow my pride for the good of this precious thread. And I did it, because my hardheadedness was not more important than the needs of any other FReeQ. It chaffed, but it was a lesson in humility.
To ignore Ransom’s few, simple requests is not only rude, it is self-centered; the opposite of the spirit of Q. And, at this point, we all know how the few disgruntled feel, there is no need for them to bring it up repeatedly on every thread, ad nauseum. To do so, at this point, is divisive and tiresome.
We are still here. We have persevered... for God and country. We have an amazing outlet for our hopes and dreams for America. Be glad...
and grateful.
Lastly, we are finally seeing progress with Q’s plan, after five long, bitter years of hoping. I ask all here to consider: why have some posters become more strident lately? Why is it so important to attempt to diminish Ransomnote’s authority at this time?
